Chapter 11

Poke. Poke. What the hell keeps touching my cheek. Poke. Poke. Ugh. I groan out loud and turn my head to the other side. Poke. Poke. My other cheek now too! Stop!

"It's time to wake up sleepy head," Lexi scream-whispers. I don't think she realizes how badly I need my sleep right now. "We need to get ready for school."

In my sleepy morning voice I say, "what time is it?"

I feel her move on the bed to check the clock "5:30!" What? That's way to early!

"I dig my head back into the pillow, "Go away and wake me up at a more reasonable time."

"No! If you want me to make you look drop dead gorgeous for Jayden you better get your fine ass up!" She yells. Well she does make a good point...

"Fine Lexi, you win. Again..." I slowly get myself up and out of bed and then meet Lexi in the bath room.

"Okay I have all your clothes set up on the counter, get changed and call me when you're done!" She skips out of the room and shuts the door. I quickly change and look at what I'm wearing, it's a hot pink sleeveless button up shirt that ties at the bottom and exposes some of my tummy with white short shorts and a brown belt. Then I call her back into the room. She walks in and she's wearing her clothes for the day, a light purple dress that is tight at the top then slowly flows into a more lose material at the bottom. "Sofie your outfit is perfect for making him jealous" she smiles deviously. "Now time for your hair and makeup!"

"Approximately how long is it going to take for you to do my hair and makeup..." I ask unhappily, knowing it will be a long time considering how early she woke me up.

"Just about an hour that's all!" She says happy with herself, "but you better pay attention because this is the only time I'm doing it for you. I will not sacrifice my hair and make up for you ever again!" Then I notice her hair and makeup aren't done. Wow I didn't even notice. She doesn't even need to do her hair or make up, she is still gorgeous.

"Fine." I stick my tongue out at her and then allow her to work her magic on me.

She teaches me every little step and makes sure I memorize everything perfectly. When she finishes I observe her work. Damn, Lexi sure knows what she is doing. My hair is perfectly curled and my red highlights are accentuated from the look of the curls. My eyeshadow is dark brown on the outer side of the eyes and slowly fades lighter as it moves in. I look really... Hot. Damn never thought I would see the day.

"So, do you like it?" She asks with hope in her eyes.

"Like it? I love it! Lexi your amazing!" I squeal then stand up and hug her.

After we finish up, we run down stairs and grab our breakfast bars and head to my car. We drive to the school and I park in my normal spot in the back of the parking lot.

"Okay Sophie you ready to go in? You do realize that all the boys are going to be looking at you, you're okay with that right?" She asks me with a worried expression.

"Oh I'm ready alright. I've gone eighteen years without being noticed, so I think I'm ready." I grin at her.

We get out of my car and make our way into the school. We chat at Lexi's locker for a while, every so often when a group of boys walk by they stare at us and I feel a sense of accomplishment. We wait until the warning bell rings before we go our separate ways to our first classes.

"Bye Sofie, and good luck! I want full details on what happens." She says walking away.

"Will do! See you later Lexi and thanks again!" We wave and I walk to physics.
