A plan...

MIKE POV

I stand in front of Jess' door. I hear footsteps, I look to my right and see Sam walking towards me with cups of what I assume is coffee in her hand.

"Hey Sam!" I greet.

"Hi Mike!" She replies

"I was waiting out here for a while." I tell her.

"Sorry Mike, I was out." She says.

"Where?" I ask.

"Getting these." She says handing me a cup.

"Thanks." I say.

I take a sip of my drink, I look back at Sam.

"Are we gonna do our research out here or in there?" I ask humorously.

"Right sorry." Sam says walking to the door.

She unlocks it and pushes it open. We both walk in.

"Make yourself at home... Even though you have your fun time here with Jess, which means this kinda is home to you." She says.

"Don't wanna sound nosy but where do you go whenever Jess and I are in here?" I ask sitting down on Jess' bed.

"The Washington's apartment. It's near campus so I just walk." She says sitting down on her bed and sipping her drink.

We sit in silence for a few minutes.

"Let's get started." Sam says standing up and walking to her bag. She pulls out her laptop and walks back to her bed.

I stand up and move to sit next to her.

"Let the hours of researching begin." I say.

MATT POV

I stand in front of the Washington's apartment. I knock on the door thrice, the door opens and I see Josh.

"Hey man! Come in!" He says enthusiastically.

I walk in and immediately see Chris sitting in the couch.

"Hey Matt!" Chris greets, waving his hand.

"Hey!" I reply.

I hear the door close behind me. "Emily not with you?" I hear Josh ask.

I turn to look at him. "She's in the library maintaining her four point o." I say.

"Where your sisters?" I ask.

"Partying." He says walking past me.

I walk to the couch and sit next to Chris. Josh sits in the sofa in front of us.

"You guys are probably wondering why you're here... I need help." He says.

I honestly expected him to finish his sentence because I'm just giving him the "are you going to finish" face. Fortunately Chris speaks up.

"What do you need help with?" He asks.

Josh stands up. "Alright, before I start talking about the plan. You guys need to know something." He says walking into the kitchen.

Josh comes back with a glass of water in his hand. His hand turns ice blue and the water in the grass turns into ice.

"No fucking way!" Chris says standing up.

I smile to myself. Well, I guess I'm not the only one.

"Impressed?" Josh asks with a smile.

Chris scoffs. "You're gonna shit your pants when you see this." Chris says making a gun with his fingers. He aims it at the glass in Josh's hand. "You might want to put that on a table." Chris adds.
