One month later...
MIKE POV
I fall down on the roof of a car. I feel it break under me. I roll of the damn thing and push myself up.
I hear someone drop behind me. I turn around and see James.
"You killed my sister and my dad!" James screams.
"And you killed my brother!" I scream back.
"He's just one guy!" He shoots a ball of blue fire at me.
Present day...
MIKE POV
I sit on the couch in my apartment. Axel and Aurora are at my side.
"I really fucked up guys..." I start.
"Don't beat yourself up Mike... It's not your fault." Aurora tries to comfort me.
"But it is! I over reacted!" I tell her.
Jess broke up with me last night...
"That happened because that fuck head hot in your head. He chose the person you love the most and took advantage of that." Ax says.
"Luck for you. You're still in a relationship." I tell him.
"Hey! You're Michael Munroe! Class president and the dirtiest dog out there. How bout you quit moping and get back out there!" Ax tries to motivates me.
"Listen Ax... I'm not that guy anymore. Ever since the lodge, I've stayed by Jess' side for as long as I can remember. I couldn't imagine being with anyone else." I tell him.
"I don't have a response for that..." He says.
I look at Aurora.
"Maybe you should heal the wound. It takes time but it will heal, you probably won't be in a relationship but at least you guys won't be awkward around each other." Aurora says.
I only lean back and give her a small smile.
HAZEL POV
Ash and I stand in front of Sam and Jess' dorm. The news of Mike and Jess' breakup spread like wildfire within our group of friends and probably around campus, but they don't know the reason behind it, unlike us.
I knock on the door thrice and the door is opened by Sam.
"Hey guys! What're you doing here?" Sam asks.
"We wanted to visit you guys." Ash says.
"And have a girls night out." I add.
Sam steps aside and let's us in. We walk into the dorm and see Jess resting on her bed with some bandages wrapped around her arm.
"Hey Jess." Ash and I greet her.
"Hello my lovely gingers!" Jess greets us, trying to sound cheery and all that.
I smile. "How're you holding up?"
"I'm doing fine, still stings but I'm fine." Jess replies. "Well what're you guys doing here standing up, take a seat!" Jess adds.
I look around and see two bean bag chairs on the floor. I drop down on the first one and see Ash sit down on the other. Sam sits on her bed.
"So what brings you guys here?" Jess asks.
"We wanted to visit you guys." Ash says.
