JESSICA POV

Mike and I kiss, while doing so I feel his weight pulling me down. I open my eyes but my lips never leave his. I look down and see we are hovering above the ground. I start to panic, I close my eyes immediately and pray that we will touch the ground. Thankfully we did, I pull away.

"Jesus Jess, I didn't know you could make me feel that way." Mike says looking into my eyes.

"Feel what?" I ask him.

"Flying... When I kissed you... I felt like I was flying." He says smiling.

Oh shit. I pull out my phone, unlock it, and make it look like I got a message.

"Oh shit... Sorry Mike but I promised Sam I would help her with some stuff." I tell him, doing my best to make it sound urgent.

"Alright... Do you want me to come with you?" He asks.

"No... But thanks Mike." I say pecking his lips.

I turn away and start running back to my dorm room fast.

"Jess!" I hear Mike call out, but I don't look back.

MIKE POV

I wonder why Jess would run off like that. If I were to do something like that for my friend, I would be in a hurry. But I wouldn't be that fast in running back.

"Jess!" I call out.

Jess doesn't turn back, she only keep running. Shit, did I do something wrong? I sigh, I walk down the dirt path to my dorm.

I arrive at my dorm. I really hope I didn't do anything wrong. So I pull out my phone, unlock it and start messaging Jess.

Me: Hi Jess... Did I do anything wrong?

I stare at the screen for what seemed like a minute. Seen. Still no reply.

"Fuuuuuck." I breathe out.

I drop down on my bed. Sam is Jess' roommate, my research partner. Maybe I can ask her what Jess needed help with. With all the thinking I'm doing, I didn't notice sleep taking me over.

BETH POV

"Beth!" I hear Hannah call me.

I look up from my laptop. "What now?!" I yell.

"Can you come here for a minute?!" She asks.

"Alright!" I reply. I stand up and walk out of my room.

I meet Hannah and Josh in the living room. They both give me a weird look.

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Josh." Hannah says looking at Josh.

I turn to look at Josh. Josh smiles at me and holds up a glass of water. I watch his hand turn ice blue, the water inside the glass instantly turns into ice. My eyes widen at what I just saw. Josh has powers too... I give Josh a smile. I turn to my right and see a sharpened pencil, take it, walk towards Josh, and stab him in the abdomen area.

"AW! FUCK! BETH!" Josh scream, pulling out the pencil.

"Relax big guy." I tell him. I grab his arm and I look down at his wound. The wound starts to heal. I look back up at Josh to see he is looking at the now healed wound.

"Ok it's nice that your a healer, but if your going to do that. I suggest you shoutout a warning." Josh says looking up.

I scoff. "Like that's going to happen." I say walking past him.

"Anyways can you heal yourself?" Josh asks.

"No." I tell him.

Josh looks at Hannah. "Did she know before me?" He asks looking back at me.
