HANNAH POV

Beth and I are standing in the woods near the campus.

"Beth. I need to show you something." I tell her approaching a tree.

"Ok..." She says with an expecting look on her face.

"Just try not to freak out alright?" I ask her.

I take a deep breath and put my hand through the tree. The feeling is ticklish till now.

"Are you sure there isn't a hole in the tree?" Beth asks me.

"Take a look and find out yourself." I tell her, keeping my hand in place.

Beth walks over to me and looks at the side my hand is going through. A smile appears on her face.

"I guess I'm not the only freak." She says.

I'm instantly confused. "You can pass through stuff too?" I ask her.

"No, but I can do this." She says bending down to grab a sharp branch, out of no where she stabs my arm.

I instantly pull arm out of the tree. "OW! What the hell was that for?" I exclaim.

She rolls her eyes and grabs hold of my injured arm. I watch as the wound in my arm start to heal. I'm amazed, I'm no longer alone. A smile comes out.

"Can you heal yourself?" I ask her.

"As far as I know, I can only heal anyone but myself." She says shrugging.

My smile fades as I realize that if she ever gets hurt, she can't heal herself.

"Oh. That's unfortunate." I tell her.

"Yeah, at least I can be doctor." She says humorously, lighting the mood.

I give her a smile. But I can't help but think that if she ever dies, she won't be able to heal herself. I'm interrupted by my phone vibrating in my pocket. I pull it out and see Josh on the screen.

I accept the call. "Yellow." I say.

"Hey! How are my little sisters doing?" Josh says on the line.

"We're doing fine." I tell him.

"Great. Sam and I are heading out for lunch. Wanna join us?" He asks.

I put my phone down and look over at Beth. "Josh wants to have lunch, wanna go?" I ask her.

She nods her head. I  put my phone near my ear. "Sure we can grab a bite." I tell him.

"Awesome, I'll meet you guys at the usual place." He says before hanging up.

I put my phone back in my pocket.

"Should we tell him?" I hear Beth say.

"Who? Josh?" I ask.

"Is there anyone else?" She asks sarcastically.

I roll my eyes. "I don't know Beth, I don't want to freak him out." I tell her.

"Neither do I, but we have to tell him eventually right. Who knows, he might be like us. I mean if we have it, then he will most likely too." She explains.

I have to say, she could be right. "Maybe your right, but maybe we should hold it back till the time is right you know..." I reply.

"Anyways, let's pick up the pace. We don't want to keep Josh waiting." She says walking quicker.

I follow her pace, the rest of the walk was surprisingly quiet. I don't mind it as I have the time to think about possibilities that I'm not the only one out there.
