After a few days of thinking, I've decided to not use the butterfly effect in the story. I honestly think it doesn't suit me. Hope that doesn't bother you...
JOSH POV
"Full honesty... I think we should wait here... You never know if the others came out of the lodge looking for us." I say.
"Then maybe we should look for them" Mike suggests.
"Not an option..." Matt's clone says.
"Why not!" Mike says.
"Before I..." He puts his hand in his chest. "I got a glimpse of what happened to him... Fucking wolf man killed him."
"And you're telling us now..." Mike says.
"I thought you wouldn't believe... Now that we've seen that fucking thing. It felt like a good time." The clone says.
"You know I've been thinking... If the real Matt is gone... Why are you still here?" I ask.
"I don't know..." He sighs.
We sit their in silence.
"Mike maybe we should setup camp here..." I suggest.
"Fine... I feel safer when your around anyway." He says walking deeper into the cabin.
SAM POV
We continue to walk through the woods.
SNAP!
We hear a branch snap behind us.
"Please tell me you guys brought guns." I say.
"Yep!" Z says, bringing up a pistol.
Beth brings up a shotgun... Overkill much...
Suddenly a deer runs across us.
I jump back. "Shit!" I exclaim.
"Don't worry, it's just a deer." Jess says.
"Yeah I can see that. Didn't that at least surprise you?" I ask.
"It did but we didn't need to scream." Beth replies.
"Least just keep going." Z says walking ahead.
We walk together in silence, but I don't think being quiet is good for us.
I walk next to Z and try to start a conversation.
"Sooo... How are you liking the night so far?" I start.
"Hmmm... I've seen everyone die in my vision. Saw a guy who an shoot fire out of his hands... This is by far the most interesting yet terrifying night I've ever had." She replies.
We then hear growling around us. I look down at Wolfie.
"Was that you boy?" I ask.
The wolf stops and starts to bark at the trees.
"What's gotten into him?" Jess asks.
None of us answer as we only stare into the trees. Wolfie's barks as our background noise.
Suddenly a huge wolf lunges at us. I jump down and feel the wolf fly over me.
BANG!
I get up and see Beth shooting at the wolf.
"RUN!" I hear Z scream.
All of us break into a sprint. I don't bother looking back but I see Z and Wolfie in front of me.
