HAZEL POV
Josh and I enter the basement.
"First things first, we gotta destroy the contraptions I made. Second, my dad got some guns stored around here. Maybe we could arm the guys without lethal abilities." He says while we walk.
"Why do you even have these saws in the first place?" I ask.
He stops. "Few weeks ago I tried to impress the girl I like... It didn't end well... I was thinking and maybe these would contraptions would help... And then I heard about your future. If these things gets everyone killed, it's best if they are destroyed."
"Why do you believe me? We just met." I state.
"I met someone like you... Someone who could see the future." He says.
We then walk deeper into the basement. I start to look around and notice that it starts to look more like an old hotel.
"Josh?" I ask concerned.
"Trust me I had the same reaction when dad showed me this place." He tells me.
We then enter a room. Josh stops in front of a table and chair, with a gun on top of the table. He grabs it and removes the magazine, he hands the gun to me.
"The mag that was in the gun was filled with blanks. The actual bullets are in the drawer of my Josh cave." He says.
I look up. "What the fuck is that?!" I exclaim.
"Something I cooked up..." Josh says before shooting a beam of ice at the saw.
The iced saw then falls on top of the table and shatters.
"To the Josh cave." He says.
EMILY POV
I walk out of the lodge. The Matt and his clone are following me.
"Where you going?" Matt asks.
"The cable car station. I'm gonna check if the car is still there waiting for us." I reply.
"Bullshit! You just wanna save yourself because you have no powers." I assume the clone said that to me.
"Fuck is your problem?" I ask.
"We've put up with your bitchiness for god knows how long!" The clone says.
"What the hell are you taking about." I say.
"That's it! I'm going back to the lodge." The clone says.
MATT POV
My clone walks away.
"Finally! I thought he wood never leave." Emily exclaims in relief.
"Hey, don't be to rough on the guy. He's the exact opposite of me. Of course he's not going to be as nice as me." I defend my clone.
"You seem confident with yourself." Emily chuckles.
I smile at her.
Few minutes later...
We arrive at the cable car station.
I see an axe on the door.
"I feel better with an axe!" I say grabbing the axe.
"What's an axe doing there in the first place?" Emily asks.
"I don't know... Maybe flamethrower guy left it there." I say.
Emily tries to open the door.
"Fuck it's jammed!" Emily starts. "Can you cut it down?" She asks me.
