Chapter Thirty-One.

I lay on Dylan warmed by his cuddly chest. I sighed as I rested my eyes closed and put my head in the crook of his neck. I lay for a few seconds before, I heard the creaking of the floorboards. I tensed for a immediately stuck my head up to met Dylan’s eyes, with rush blasting through them. He’s eyes darted to behind me and back. Before I could turn around to see the guest. He had crashed his lips onto mine claiming them as his own. I was so tempted to turn around but my hormones got the best of me. I twined my hands up his chest and around his neck clutching him closer. He grinned against my lips and I laughed softly. The bubbly feeling of pleasure rose in my stomach making me nervous.

“I should go check where Sabrina is.” I whispered as my nose rested on his. His first expression was stern before he hesitantly released me from his grip from me. I could see the demanding lust through his eyes and it frightened me. I quickly rushed out my bedroom, my hair was scruffy and my dress was half way up my ass. I pulled my dress down covering my ass cheeks and smoothed down my hair. I took a deep breath and jogged down stairs back into the twirling chaos.

I struggled through the crowds of cross eyed idiots, and passed the land of sucking faces. To make it to Sabrina who cheering on a random bloke in the kitchen, who was drinking down tons of beer. I rolled my eyes as I grabbed her hand with her unaware. She squealed at my touch, she attempted to flee away but she was so drunk I guess she didn’t care. I chuckled lightly under my breath as I pulled her into the nearest bathroom. She opened her mouth to scream but I put my hand to cover her mouth.

“Sabrina you utter twit it’s me!” I said lightly with a amused tone creaking into my voice. She immediately widened her eyelids open to see me and lunged me into a breathless hug.

“Where have you been? You’ve been missing out on all the fun!” she exclaimed then released me a new expression on her face. Drunk and joy mixed into one.

“Have you met a girl called Haley?” I asked quickly. Sabrina widened her eyes in recognition and grinned.

“Yeah the stripper tramp! Boys faces were priceless.” She giggled uncontrollably and I couldn’t help but join in.

“That’s my cousin!” I laughed and she burst into laughter.

“Seriously! Oh my god that hilarious!” Sabrina laughed as the bathroom door swung open with a girl holding two drinks, her friend was just behind her. I grabbed the vodka drinks from her hands and swung the door in her face.

“THANKS!” I giggled at I slumped down onto the toilet sit chugging down my vodka.

“Hey pass one to me!” Sabrina pouted but it was too late, I had already drunk the two vodka straight down my throat. I giggled and shot my finger out as I pointed directly at her.

“Too late!” I chuckled stumbling up.

“NO FAIR!” Sabrina said as she helped me up, I clutched my stomach wheezing with laughter.

“What are we laughing about?” Sabrina giggled dragging out the bathroom and into the lounge were grinding and dancing with the rhythm of the TV random music channel.

“Beats me!” I exclaim over the music as she spots Derek dancing with a girl, who looked clearly extremely interested however, Derek’s face was the complete opposite. He kept dazing around the room like he was looking for something. I looked back at Sabrina who’s face followed my gaze to see the young girl drooping forward’s towards his lips. That’s when Sabrina took off, Derek was leaning away as the girl leaned in closer. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud, which attracted his attention, he snapped his head in the direction of me and the Sabrina who was literally jogging at him. He’s eyes widened as Sabrina jumped onto him and wrapped her legs around his waist, she crashed her lips onto his and I burst into laughter. The young desperate girl sighed with anger as she trotted off in defeat.

I grinned only to be surprised by two that slid around my back and clutched me closer. I looked up to met Dylan’s eyes, and his amazing smile at lit up my face. On the music channel the song ‘Super Bass’ by Nicki Minaj had just finished to be replaced by the new hit single by Beyoncé ‘Best Thing I Never Had.’ People groaned at the slow song but didn’t change the channel, I looked shyly up at Dylan who eyes were sparkling with pride. I scoffed a light laugh as I stepped forward wrapping my arms around his shoulders and resting my head beside the crook of his neck. I couldn’t help but smile as his lips pecked my cheek travelling down to my shoulder. I sighed softly as his hands travelled down to my waist and perched themselves on my hips.

“Wanna get out of there?” his husky voice whispered in my ear, I shivered at the touch. That’s also when I realized the new scent that masked him. Alcohol.

“I can’t leave my own party.” I said gently as I lean off his shoulder to look him straight in the eyes.

“Oh common we’ll be gone only for a minute.” He grins and I open my mouth to speak only to be stopped by a hand that taps my shoulder. I turned around my face glowing as soon as I saw Ryan.

“Ma Lady, may I have this dance.” Ryan grins as he straightens his back, an amused expression printed on his face. I grin in return then I lightly curtsy  taking my imagination into a flight through the 18th century.

“Well I’d be delighted−” I muttered as I reached for Ryan’s hand but Dylan slapped it away. I looked up at him and frowned with a sigh.

“But we were just leaving.” He grunted glaring at Ryan continuously.  Ryan didn’t glare back he kept his cool which I was grateful for.

“Leaving? You cannot leave your own party my lady.” Ryan exclaimed ignoring Dylan’s glare, his eyes only focusing on me, his gently lips slid into a small smile as he lead me into the middle of the lounge, I started to move my hips with his as I kept my distance, only to be tempted by his muscles that flexed as he moved.

“Thank you.” I barely whispered as I frowned at the floor hiding my facial expression. I gasped when he pulled me closer and whispered in my ear.

“Why do you date a jerk like him, if you fear him?” Those words made me realize how weak I am to be bossed about by Dylan although he can be sweet and gently, he’s sometimes just a jerk.

“He’s not all a jerk.” I muttered trying to convince myself, I only reason I started to date Dylan was because of Sarah, but after that he made me feel a part of something, to be popular for once. Its unbelievable.
