"Hey, mate. Long time no see," said my best mate, Blaise.

It's hard to believe that we've been best mate's since we were seven, but it's true. You can't break something called brotherhood because that's exactly what he was to me. A brother. I remember one time he was over at my house and we absolutely had to go peeking on the neighborhood girls that swam in the pond next to my mansion. He took the blame and was never allowed to return to my house again. Mum claims he's a bad influence.

I smiled, "Seems even longer. How was your holiday?"

"It was alright," he said and put an arm around Millicent Bullstrode, who had always looked rather like a boy but turned pretty over summer. Who would've thought, huh?

I smirked, "Nice."

"What about your's?" he asked.

I was about to tell him about Hanna, but I realized that I couldn't. You see, Millicent was Pansy Parkinson's best friend. Pansy Parkinson just happened to be my girlfriend. My rather annoying, clingy, over-obssesive girlfriend. We were always on-again, off-again mainly because she enjoyed the gossip and drama. I, on the other hand, grew bored of it from the first time she pulled it off.

"I'll tell you later," I said as Pansy walked in, right on cue.

She kissed me on the lips roughly before taking the open spot next to me and burying herself deep into my side. It hurt quite a bit. I shifted, so that he whole body weight wasn't on me and looked over at Blaise, who understood.

"Babe," he said to Millicent, "Why don't you and Pansy leave us for a moment? It's rather important."

She nodded and took Pansy, who didn't want to leave and clung merclessly for dear life on my arm, which scared later. I smiled at Blaise in a thank you as the girls left the compartment. The train then jerked abit, but then it was smooth sailing.

"What are you smiling about? Because I know that Pansy would never bring that out in you," he then smirked, "unless she was actually a good shag this time."

I shook my head. "No, I met someone."

"Is she a good shag?" he asked, laughing.

"No, I haven't slept with her yet, but when our eyes met, I could tell that there was something there."

He stopped laughing and lost his smile altogether. "What are you talking about? It sounds like you're going on about love? Since when does Draco Malfoy talk about love?"

I smiled to myself. This was the first time that any girl had this effect on me. I mean, she was one that I hadn't even thought of taking to bed yet. That was saying something.

"I guess I am. We'll just see how it goes," I said and then stole a glance out the window and saw a brunette walk pass the window. My heart jumped in my chest. Was that her? "Excuse me for a second," I said to Blaise and was out the door before he could talk me out of it.

I tapped the girl on the shoulder, "Excuse me?" I asked and she turned.

"Draco?" the girl asked.

It was not Hanna.

"I'm sorry. I thought you were someone else," I said and turned to leave but thenn heard a voice.

"Bella, what are you doing down here? I thought we were sitting down there with the rest of our friends?" came her voice.

I turned and drank in Hanna's vibrant blue eyes. She smiled when I looked at her and I did the same. I licked my lips and went to say something, but I was interupted.

"No, I thought we would sit in a compartment down here with some other friends of ours. Different friends, you know?" Bella answered her.

I opened my mouth again.

Hanna tilted her head to the side. "Which friends...?"

"Hanna," I finally started.

She turned from her friend and smiled at me. Smiled! Can you believe it? She looked like she was happy to see me, which made me smile all the more. So, I took a deep breath.

"I thought I wouldn't see you again," I started.

She pushed some of her hair behind her ear, "Like I told you in the robe shop, I knew I would see you again."

"That only proves that you knew me before we met in that cafe," I smirked and her friend Bella laughed.

"I knew of you, yes," Hanna nodded.

"Knew of me?" I repeated.

Bella rolled her eyes. "Draco, honestly, everyone knows who you are. Is that really surprising? As long as you attend Hogwarts, you're going to hear about what the Slytherin Prince does at all times of the day."

I glanced at Bella and then back at Hanna. "Is that true?"

She nodded. "You are a celebraty around here."

I smiled and stroked my chin. A celebraty, huh? That was the first I was hearing of this, but then again who wouldn't notice me? I am pretty good looking.

Apparently, I said this outloud without even meaning to.

"Modest, much?" Bella laughed, "Come on, Han. We need to get back to our seats."

"Bye, Draco," Hanna waved as her friend led her away.

"Wait!" I yelled, not wanting to see her go.

She turned to me with that same brillant smile still on her face. "What is it, Draco?" she asked.

I wanted to see her again. Why couldn't I just tell her that? It was easy when I talked to other girls. What is this one doing to me? So, I pushed all my courage to the front and let it out more quickly than I had meant to.

"I want to see you again."

"When?" was her question.

I cleared my throat. "How about tonight after dinner? I'll meet you outside on the entrance steps."

"Okay," she said and walked away.

Okay was all she had said. No shreiking or yelling or running off to tell her friends. No speechless staring contests. No jumping up and down or on me for that matter. Just okay.

And oddly, that seemed to be enough
