It hurt every time the thought of Lauren washed through Camila's mind. Needless to say, Camila's heart was constantly aching, she couldn't even sleep through her emotions. She felt so drained and she literally had to drag herself out of bed to make it to her job at the music store.

She made it through her days in a daze and she gratefully collapsed onto her bed once she got home on one particular day.

"Dinah said Lauren's been asking about you." Ally calmly states as she rubs comforting circles on the girls back. "She said Lauren has seemed worried about you."

"Screw Lauren." Camila mumbles into her pillow.

"Mila..." Ally began but was quickly cut off by someone knocking at the door. She heavily sighs, "I'll be right back."

Although Camila appreciated Ally's company, she wished the smaller girl would simply leave her be. Camila needed to be left alone with her troublesome thoughts, she had to get through this on her own.

"Dinah came to see you," Ally nervously states as she reenters the room with a new presence behind her.

"Hey Chancho." Dinah stated with a sad smile upon seeing the girls appearance.

"I'll be in the kitchen," Ally nervously stated before rushing off.

Dinah took a cautious seat on the edge of the bed as Camila used all her energy to pull herself up. She instantly felt drained from the simple task. "Hey," Camila greeted with a lazy smile.

"Hey," Dinah laughed as she watched Camila rest her back against the headboard. "Are you feeling under the weather?" She cautiously questioned.

"That question totally seemed misplaced coming from your mouth," Camila chuckles.

Dinah quirks an eyebrow with a slight smirk on her lips. "Sorry. Are you feeling fucking shitty or what, bitch?"

"That's more like it." Camila laughs in response. "A little."

"Huh," Dinah curiously peers. "You and Lauren must've gotten the same bug then."

"By that you mean?" Camila sits up straighter, chocolate brown orbs wide.

"I mean Lauren looks and feels like complete shit also. You haven't really gotten as bad as her but you're getting there for sure." Dinah nervously laughs.

"What's wrong with Lauren?"

"She's acting so withdrawn and she's sleeping even less than usual, no appetite or anything." Dinah weakly says. Camila notices how small she feels, like she can't help her best friend.

"Are you frustrated because you can't help her?" Camila questions as she gently places her hand on Dinah's arm. The taller girl noticeably flinches before relaxing back into her seat.

"Y-yeah...like I've never seen her like this. Ever. Even when she's got a cold or something she still picks herself up and pushes through it but she's so helpless now. It's such a strange thing to see her eyes so drained of color." Camila's heart instantly aches at the thought of those striking green eyes dull and clouded.

"Camila..." Dinah nudges the smaller girl to get her attention. "I know this may be asking too much but, will you please talk to her?" She nervously takes her lip between her teeth.

The smaller girls heart begins to ache at the thought of having to face Lauren. "Dinah I-"

"Please Mila...I can tell you two are connected. Something happened at the club last week that affected you both." Dinah eyes the older girl before her with worried eyes. "I want you and my best friend to be okay again just...please. Consider?" She rambles on, she definitely seemed out of her element. This role was rare for her, you could tell Dinah didn't feel helpless very often.
