Lauren awakes with a sudden jolt. She groans at the intense pain emanating from the spot over her head.

What the hell is she doing on the floor?

Her fingers reach up to touch the spot on her head, eyes widening at the crimson substance on her fingers.

Shit.

Instantly her head whips in the direction of the bedroom. Her eyesight gets blurred because of the sudden movement and she inwardly cringes.

Camila.

Lauren rushes to her feet, ignoring the aching pain in the side of her head. She feels her way along the walls trying to get to her room. She would notice that mostly all of the candles are blown out if her mind wasn't solely focused on the brunette.

When she's in the room her shaky hands grasp at the flashlight on the dresser, turning it on and shining it around the area. "Camz?"

She takes in the covers sprawled out on the floor, the spilled over wax from the candles, the glass on the floor. "Camila?" Lauren squeaks out once again.

She's gone.

Lauren's knees quiver as she collapses onto the ground. The tear spring into her eyes before she can stop them and her chest feels like it's collapsing in on itself when she sees the faint trail of blood on the floor.

Before the green eyed girl realizes what she's doing, her shaky hands are reaching for her phone that fell beneath the bed and she's dialing her best friends number.

"Hey Laur!"

"D-Dinah."

"Lauren?" The older girl hears rustling on the other line. "Lauren, what's wrong?"

"C-Camila she...she was...she's."

"Hey, calm down, Lo. Relax and tell me what's going on."

"H-He.." Lauren tries her best to calm her breathing. She clenches her eyes shut and slams her fist against her chest. "He took her...He took Camila."

"Camila? Where? Who took her?" Dinah instantly begins to fire down the line as her voice fills with panic.

Lauren's ragged breaths are all that can be heard down the line as Dinah impatiently waits on the answer.

"...Chance."

Dinah's silence is unsettling over the phone as Lauren feels a seed of rage root in her chest. The older girl stands to her full height as she tries to block out the sparks of red trying to overtake her line of vision.

"Lauren..." The Polynesian tries to steady her friend. "I know what you're thinking."

"I'm going after him," Lauren states with finality, getting ready to hang up the phone.

"Wait!"

Lauren huffs before placing the phone back against her ear, waiting for her friends next words as she rushes around, searching for shoes.

"Just give Mani and I a few minutes and we'll be over there to back you up."

"I don't have time Dinah. Who knows where the hell Camz is."

Lauren shakes her head twice, hanging up the phone before grabbing her keys and making a dash for the front door.

The first place Lauren thought to look was right across the street at Chance's apartment. Lauren huffed as she rushed to her car in the parking lot, the rain pelting onto the side of her face.
