A few days later Dinah had to drag Lauren to the club.
"Why're you fucking doing this?" Lauren grunts as Dinah continues to drag her along the path towards the noisy club entrance.
"You need to get out of the house," Dinah chuckles.
Once inside Dinah takes a seat directly beside her best friend, a warm grin gracing her lips.
"What're you up to?" Lauren calls Dinah out on the look she's giving her. The Polynesian simply shrugged before her eyes landed on her boyfriend. He was standing on the edge of the dance floor trying to encourage her to come with him.
"Hey, go." Lauren nudges her friend as she watches the worried look overtake her friends features. Dinah nervously turns to Lauren, "I won't leave I promise. Just go, please. I don't need you coming back with a black eye or something. I'll be too tempted to chuck another beer bottle at his head." Lauren sadly smiles at Dinah.
Chance appears beside the two, causing them both to jump before Chance wraps up Dinah's petite wrist in a death grip. "You fucking saw me calling you over." He growled as he pulled Dinah up to her feet. The darker girl willingly got up, trying to hold back her cries of pain.
"Chance I swear to fucking-"
"Sit down woman, don't make me kick you out of my club." The taller man harshly spits back.
"I wish you fucking would you little pussy." Lauren retorts as she approaches the two.
"Lauren please, just let it go." Dinah weakly intervenes. "I'll be okay."
"No you won't be." Lauren replies before watching Chance drag her best friend through the club and down the hall in the front of the building.
Lauren plops back down on the couch as a frustrated sigh escapes her lips.
"You okay?" Her younger friend comes out of nowhere with the question.
Lauren gasps before clenching her hand over her chest. "Jesus Christ, Bea. How do you do that?"
The younger girl shrugs with a chuckle, "Guess it's because I'm tiny. Plus you scare easily."
"That's bull shit," Lauren scoffs at the accusation. "Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get hammered."
Lauren begins to rise to her feet before Bea cuts her off. "What's gotten into you? You usually don't drink?" She asks with a worried expression.
"Well tonight's different." The green eyed girl begins to walk away.
"Bring me something back!" Bea yells in Lauren's direction, causing the older girl to chuckle.
Lauren fought against the bodies on the dance floor to make it to the front where she plopped down on a bar stool. She was winded from all that work and she was quick to rest her head in her hands. She looked around and spotted the familiar bartender. "James, hit me." Lauren mumbles as the boy turned to face her with a deep chuckle.
"Actually I'm on a break date." He laughed before leaning back. Brunette waves came into view before emerald orbs connected with chocolate ones. In an instant Lauren felt a hard twinge in her gut as Camila's eyes widened in shock. "Lauren this is Camila." James waves between the two.
"We've met," Lauren roughly clears her throat before turning back to the bar.
Soon enough Brett comes by and smiles at Lauren. "The usual?" He questions with a smirk.
"Make it a double." Lauren groans before glancing down at her phone and seeing a text from Normani.
Mani: When you get here don't go to the bar I'll serve you drinks, my treat
