"Lauren!" Camila squeaked upon entering her apartment.

"Yes baby?" Lauren teased with a little smirk.

"Don't get wandering hands, we're at a dinner," Camila tried her best to scold her girlfriend but ended up cracking a large smile.

"I can't promise anything. I mean, have you seen how irresistible my girlfriend is?" Lauren questions in a genuine tone. her hand wandered down to squeeze at the smaller girls backside, making the brunette jump in surprise.

"Lauren!" Camila giggles as she runs in the direction of the kitchen.

With a chuckle the green eyed girl chases down the smaller girl. As soon as she's through the doorway Lauren wraps her arms around Camila's waist, twirling the giggling girl in her arms.

The older girl placed Camila safely onto the ground, connecting their lips in a soft kiss before addressing their friends. They gaze across the eyes on them and Lauren can't help but grin.

"I told you Mila was defrosting that icy heart of yours, Jauregui." Dinah announces as she looks up from her glass of wine.

"Dinah Jane, I don't wanna hear it!" Lauren jokingly declared with a smile.

"You guys are too cute," Ally contently sighs before looking over the contents on the stove.

The group settles around the table, Ally at the head of the table while Normani and Dinah occupied one side and Lauren and Camila sat together on the other side.

"Alright Ally so what do we got?" Dinah questioned as she looked at everything laid out before her.

"Baked chicken because Normani insisted," Ally begins, letting the younger girl get her dramatic hair-flip in for recognition. "Roasted-pepper pasta salad, homemade macaroni and cheese, and maple-roasted sweet potatoes."

"Holy shit," Dinah gawks at the appealing food before her.

"Let's see if you two like my culinary skills," Ally addresses Lauren and Dinah.

"I have a great feeling about this," Lauren chuckles before reaching for the nearest dish.

The dinner was relatively quiet as everyone quickly settled into eating, leaving little time for chatting.

"My nutritionist is going to hate me," Dinah groans as she leans back in her chair.

"You don't have a nutritionist, dumbass." Lauren laughs as she pushes her plate away from her body.

"Then I'm going to hate me when this food baby settles in."

"You could never hate yourself, DJ. You're really full of yourself." Lauren retorts with a smirk, her best friend smugly flipping her the bird.

"I never doubted your cooking skills, Alls." Lauren sighs as she watches Camila's finger trace patterns across the back of the older girls hand.

"It was really delicious," Camila praises, to which Normani nods.

"Alls?" Normani questions Lauren with an amused smile.

"Alls." Lauren countered with a smile.

Lauren and Camila cleaned up the kitchen while the rest of their friends retreated to the living room. They cleaned in sync while the older girl hummed to a song that had been stuck in her head since earlier that morning.

"What song are you even humming?" Camila questions with an adoring smile.

"It always starts with a Troye Sivan song but then I somehow find myself humming a Charlie Puth song," Lauren replies with a cheeky smile before starting the dishwasher. "Why, has it gotten annoying?"
