Chapter 16- New Beginning

Its been a month since me and faith broke up, its been hard on me I won't lie, but its for the best right? Right..wrong.. Okay yes I'm still hurt, but it'll go away. It has to go away. The good news is this year will be over soon and I can not wait. I was daydreaming looking out the window when my teacher called me "haley? Helllloo my class is not a place to have your day dreams!" "Yeessh I thought teachers were supposed to  encourage us to follow our dreams" I say some of the class laughs and just like I expected "detention haley!!" I stand up when the bell rings and walk to lunch. When I get to lunch I see devin, but no faith? I turn around and see her sitting with the other cheerleaders, its whatever though. I sit at a corner table in the cafe and play a game on my phone while listening to music, when I feel the table shake I look up and to my surprise I see the most beautiful sight I have ever seen in my life, she has red hair, grey eyes, freckles just above her cheek and a really white smile. She's saying something, I take out my ear bud embarrassed already, "sorry what?" "I asked if I could sit here?" "Oh, oh! Yeah" I say stupidly she laughs and sits down, "so what's your name?" "Haley, and yours?" "Selena, but you can call me lena" I nod "so are you new here?" "Yeah! How'd you know?" "Usually people from here don't ask to sit with me" "and why not?" I take a breath "because I'm a lesbian?" She giggles "so?" My jaw drops, she's not like most people are "so how old are you?" "Uhm I can't remember" she laughs "you're funny" "well how old are you?" "I am 15" she says triumphantly that time I laughed "cool cool" the bell rings and she jumps up "hey! Wait " "yeah??" "You gotta number?" "Yea its 7183456" "okay text you later" "bye" as I turned around to walk to class I saw faith staring at me from across the room. Hm.. Weird.
