Chapter 18- Almost Summer

Its May and schools out in 5 days. Me and Lena have been hanging out alot since she came here 3 months ago, its honestly been crazy with all these tests and shit, I'm at lunch when Lena sits down "why does faith always stare at us?" She asks "I don't know maybe she's jealous" I say "of what?" "Us?" I say, her jaw literally drops "but we're just friends!" She say "jeesh calm down I was kidding!" I say getting mad, god what's wrong with me? "I got to go bye" I say getting up and walking out "where are you going??" I don't answer. Why should I? She acts like it would be the most horrible thing in the world to be known as my girlfriend. Granted she's straight, but still!

And why does she care what faith thinks? Faith isn't even important. Its around 3 when I finally get home and my phone vibrates, once, twice, three times what the fuck, who's texting me?

Lena: 'are you mad at me?'

Faith:'can we talk?'

Faith:'I hope you don't still hate me, its been 4 months since we broke up'

And then another vibration

Faith:' I want my bestfriend back Haley'

Dang give me a chance to respond.

Me To Lena:' don't worry bout it'

Me To Faith: 'I never hated you, what do you want to talk about?'

Lena: 'can we hang out? Its friday'

Faith: 'just wanted to know if we can hang out?'

Me To Faith: yes, but Lena's coming.'

Me To Lena: 'yes, but Faiths coming.'

Faith: 'who?'

Me To Faith:' sorry, Selena'

Lena:' why?'

Ugh come on.

Me To Both: 'see you at the mall'

Lena: 'Kay'

Faith:' Whatever'

I get a shower and then grab 40 dollars from my mom  when she drops me off "have fun honey" "love ya" I say walking into the mall, I see faith waiting at the entrance "hey, you seen Lena, I mean selena?" Faith kinda frowns "no" "okay I guess we'll wait" "why did you invite her?" "Because we're friends?" "Okay" I see Lena pull up and I go up to her "hey" "hey" we hug each other and walk into the mall, faith behind us I turn around see her meanmugging Selena from behind, what the fuck is wrong with her Selena goes to the bathroom and I pull faith aside "what's wrong with you, what is your problem with Selena?" I ask "nothing" she says walking away, whatever. "Hey can we- where's faith?" She asks suddenly brighter " I'm not sure she just walked off" "oh well let's go" "where are we going?" I ask confused "to smoke" "what?" I ask "I'm sorry I need a blunt" this girl smokes?! She doesn't even look like the type! "Okay. I guess" after about an hour we walk back in high as a motherfucker. "I can't believe we just did drugs at the mall" I say "Technically weed isnt a drug because it grows in the ground" she giggles wow. She knows my logic. Around 8 faith comes up to us looking pissed "where the fuck have you guys been I've been looking for you for two hours!" Selena burst out laughing "what the fuck are you laughing at!" I have to admit faith was pretty hot when she was mad. "You, you're so maddddd" I grab selena "go sit down for a second okay?" "Okaaayy" I laugh. I turn to faith "okay first of all, you walked away grumpy pants not us we thought you left so we went and smoke a blunt" I say  explaining the events. She simmers down "okay, so what are we doing?" "I don't know, Selena's pretty high, wanna just go to my house?" Faith nods "selena come on ask your mom if you can stay?" "Okay" she calls and asks and so does faith, their moms say yes and my mom picks us up "hunny your dad has a meeting in newyork  tomorrow so we have to fly there tonight, here's some money for a pizza, we'll see you tomorrow night." "Love ya" I say walking in the house with faith and selena. When we get in I order the pizza and go get the movie 'chainsaw massacre' from upstairs, after I put the movie in I sit down between faith and lena. Halfway through the movie faith jumps in my lap, well kinda, I get nervous because she isn't moving...I have a cheerleader in my lap and I'm complaining. What the fuck is wrong with me lately. I feel Lena shift and see that she's sitting closer to me than before. Way closer. Then faith whispers in my ear "let's go upstairs for a second" I shake my head no, knowing what she's wanting and I'm not doing it. "Please" I stand up pretending to stretch and then sit down on the other side of Lena so I don't have to sit by faith. What is wrong with her? She's so confusing. "AHHHHHH" Lena screams and jumps on me, literally jumps on me and burys her head into my shoulder I look over and see faith redfaced and giving lena a dirty look, if looks could kill there'd be no sign of Lena. It was around 10 when the movie went off, selena was asleep in my lap, faith went to the bathroom, I thought about waking up lena, but I decided against it and just picked her up and took her upstairs to my room, when I was covering her up, faith came in, "can we talk?" I turn around and sit at my computer desk, "Sure, what's up?" I ask playing with a ruler, she sits on the desk and crosses her legs, which makes her skirt ride up, which distracts me. "I think we should give us a try again."

Lena's POV

I woke up in Haley's bed, I looked over and saw faith and haley talking, haley playing with a ruler and, looking up faiths skirt? Why is she looking up her skirt? She said she doesn't want her anymore! I see haley move her chair a little and I close my eyes, "I think we should give us a try again." WHAT!? No, they're supposed to be friends again, why is Faith doing this? "I don't know." I hear Haley say, she doesn't know? She said she don't like Faith in that way anymore, what happened to that? "Please Haley, I miss you, I'm sorry I messed with devin, you just made me so mad that day!" "Why would you even..just forget it, no Faith." Good! She said no. Why do I even care?  "What the fuck ever Haley, you're gonna tell me you don't miss kissing me?" Haley doesn't respond, does she? I don't hear anything for a few minutes so I peek out my right eye at them, and they're kissing...full on making-out! For some reason my stomach turned and I felt sick, I jumped up and ran to Haley's bathroom and hurled, Haley came running in and leaned down beside me, "are you okay???" She sounds panicked, "I'm fine, I guess" I stand up and walk back into her room, she sits beside me on the bed and puts her hand on my back, I scoot away "what's wrong?" Faith is sitting in front of the TV flipping through channels, all I want to do is go over and hit her as many times as I can! "Lena?" "What!" I honestly didn't mean to yell, it just came out that way because I was so mad. "God whatever I'll leave you alone" she gets up to walk away, but I grab her wrist and make her walk into the hall with me. "What" she says meany, "I'm sorry" "why did you yell at me for, I was just asking what was wrong, sorry I care" I look down "I'm sorry" I say again, but this time with tears falling down my face, "hey, why are you crying??" She asks, "because you're mad at me" I say, but to be truthful I was starting to wonder if it was more than that, she lifts my head up with her finger under my chin, my heart starts to beat faster, "I'm not mad, I could never be mad at you" then Faith's stupid ass walks out, Haley jumps back from me, it hurt a little to be honest "hey are you guys going to come to bed or what?" "Yeah" we say in unision, we walk in and Faith lays on the floor, "you can have the bed Selena" "well she's sharing with me then" the seemed to make Faith mad "night" we all say.
