Louis' P.O.V.

“Olivia?”

“Hey Louis.”

I couldn't breathe.

She was standing here, in front of me. She was looking flawless. She was looking perfect. She was here. Every wish I'd made came true. Every dream I'd dreamed is reality. She's standing in front of me. She's...she's here.

Her hair was perfectly curled. Her brown hair. She had dyed it back. She was looking perfect, standing there before me. Her brown eyes were glued to mine. Her lips were straight, then slowly pulled into a smile as she waited for me to respond.

Speak. I told myself. Say something.

“What are you doing here?” I asked. Wow. Way to be rude, Louis. She opened her mouth and spoke words so beautiful.

“Niall invited me.” It was such a simple phrase but she said it like a poet. So perfect and flawless.

“Oh.” I replied. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't think straight. She was here. After eight months she was finally here and standing in front of me. I tried to speak again. “How have you been?” I asked.

“Fine.” She replied cooly. I wanted to be how calm she was. She was handling this all so easily.

“Me too.” I said, my voice breaking. I cleared it and tried to pull myself together. “Are you...are you Belle?” I asked, referring to her costume. She smiled at the ground, so beautifully.

“No, I'm actually Princess Daisy.” She said. My jaw dropped and I laughed. “You know...from Super Mario?” She said. I just laughed again and put my hand on the railing.

“No, trust me, I know. I mean, I'm Luigi.” I said, motioning to my costume. She giggled. It was like music to my ears.

“I can tell.”

“I...I think we should talk.” I said, very maturely. Olivia nodded in agreement.

“Yes, that's actually why I'm here.” My stomach dropped. She didn't come to see me? She only came to talk? I thought.

“Olivia...” I began, trying to find my wording. “...what the hell has happened to us?” I asked. Olivia let out a breath of laughter and looked at the ground.

“I have no idea.” She replied. “Louis—” The way my name rolled off her tongue made my knees weak “—I think we need to decide what we want. I mean, do we want to never speak again...” My eyes just about rolled in the back of my head. “...do we want to be friends...” No, I thought, I can't go back to that. “...do we...I don't know. Just what do we do?” She asked me. Note that she didn't say get back together. Was she here to tell me she still hates me?

“I-I don't know.” I said. Olivia sighed.

“We have to figure out.” She told me. I nodded and looked away at the London skyline. It was getting colder and colder but with the presence of Olivia I was perfectly warm.

“I don't know.” I said again. I really, didn't know. I didn't want to be like 'I'm still in love with you' only to have her laugh in my face a be like 'Really? You thought you still had a chance?'. I didn't want that. I just wanted her to love me like I love her.

“Well, I mean you kicked me out, so you tell me.” My eyes angrily snapped to Olivia's. Her jaw was set. That twinkle in her eyes was missing.

“I didn't kick you out.” I said. Olivia crossed her arms over her chest.
