Mom's are supposed to love you, right?
My mom does, but she hits me. And she asks me why I stay in my room all day. I'm scared to face her and that's not supposed to happen I also love her dearly but she is just so confusing, kind of like why Michael won't understand that if he keeps dying his hair, he's gonna go bald.
Anyways back to my mom. She didn't hit me today, that's good. She has some off days (that's when she hits me), but mostly good days. She is better than last year, I'm really proud that at least she is trying and not giving up though I don't see why it's so hard not to hit your child. That's why it bothers me, sure when she hits me it does make a mark, but what's the point of hitting your child when you can ground them, right?
I don't use 'abuse' because she does not do it regularly, I might sound so fucking stupid but this book is all about speaking my mind.
