(Ootd on the top if you've forgotten it)
I walked for 10 minutes and then I arrived at home. I started packing my stuff my mom gave me some boxes and it was pretty hard because I have lived in this house for like 8 years.
-after 1,5 hours-
I still have some packing to do but I've come far. I took off Chandler's flannel and wrapped around my own one. I grabbed my yellow bag and left for school earlier.
-at school-
When I arrived at school I walked to Chandler's locker, I put the flannel in it. I walked to the principals office.
"Come in." She said.
"Hello Karlie, how are you?" She asked.
"I am okay I guess." I said.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"You know I am in the middle of those horrible high school relationship breakups, I told myself don't date boys in high school, they walk 2 years behind with their age." I said.
"I understand you, but now you're kind of ready for real breakups and you remind yourself every time that this was your first most horrible one and you got over it." She said.
"That's true." I said.
-after we talked about me leaving school-
"Bye miss." I said.
"Bye Karlie, good luck with that breakup." She said.
"Thank you." I said.
I heard the bell ring and walked to English class. I reminded myself that I sit next to Chandler.
"Why'd you leave this morning?" He whispered.
"Can we please talk about this later?" I whispered back.
"Sure." He said.
The teacher walked in.
"Good morning guys. Someone has an announcement to make." He said.
I walked to the front of the class.
"Hey guys, I know I've just been in this class for like 2 months, but I really am going to miss all of you. I am going to move to Nashville tomorrow." Everyone looked kinda shocked at me, and then some of them looked at Chandler, he was sad I saw it.
"Thank you Karlie." He said.
I walked back to my seat.
While the teacher was I was writing again, finishing the song I wrote yesterday.
"Karlie, are you paying attention?" The teacher asked.
".... Yes, I am." I said, he walked to my table and grabbed my songbook.
"What were you writing?"
"Just something..." I said.
He started reading my lyrics.
"Today was a fairytale, you were the prince I used to be a damsel in distress. You took me by the had an d you picked me up at six." He said.
"Who was this prince?" He asked.
"Take a guess." I said.
"The prince is sitting right next to you, and he might give you just a hit album." He said.
"He might." I answered. The teacher started talking again.
"I thought it was a fairytale too." Chandler said.
"Yea..." I said.
-after 2 hours of school-
I walked to my locker and then Chandler showed up with his friends. They all gave me a hug and told me they were going to miss me. Then Chandler gave me a hug.
"I am going to miss you." He said.
"Chandler, we had a beautiful, magic love there. But you turned it into a sad, beautiful, tragic love affair." I said.
"I know I am sorry." He said and it just didn't mind me that his friends were still there.
"You're not sorry, if you were you wouldn't have kissed her. The distance between us that week was horrible I know, but I TRUSTED you, and you gave away that trust like a Christmas present. Your timing was even worse. You could've at least called me or texted me that you kissed her, instead I find out by a picture that my best friend sended me." I said.
"I know.." He said.
"Yea we both had our breakdowns, because of the fighting, that WAS the worst part in relationship and look we are doing it again as friends." I said.
There was a silence.
"Silence, that has gotten a normal thing between us." I said.
"You kissed me, you tried to fix it... Could you just try to listen? This train has gone off of it's tracks." I said.
I grabbed the stuff out of my locker Chan and his friends were still standing around me.
"I give up, for the life of us we can't get back." I said.
"See you Saturday." I said. I walked between Eric and Sam out of the circle. And their eyes followed me down the hallway, it was like my birthday when their eyes followed me too.
I got on my bike and cycled as fast as I could back home.
When I arrived home I had a breakdown in my bedroom. After 13 minutes I got up and started packing again. Away from Atlanta, but the drama will haunt me for the rest of my life.
I walked to Rachel's house. I ringed the doorbell.
"KARLIE!!!" Rachel screamed.
I broke down in tears.
"Wanna take a walk in the park." She asked.
"Yes please." I said.
"What happened?" She asked.
"One, I am leaving you here behind. And two I am still crazy in love with him..." I said.
"I understand, you two had a very strong connection you don't just get rid of that." She said
".... I know..." I said.
One girl came running to me and Rachel.
"Omg Karlie can you sign my guitar?" She asked me.
"Of course." I answered.
Her phone rang I was here ringtone.
"Am I your ringtone that is so cute!" I said.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"Boy trouble." I said.
"Chandler?" She asked.
My breath was shaking "Yea..."
"So for who am I signing?" I then asked.
"Ashley." She said.
"Ashley you are a total sweetheart and your ringtone is on point. Kisses, Karlie.
"Thank you so much! Can you play something maybe?" She asked.
"Sure, this one is called State of Grace, you can film but please send the video and upload it when my album or this as a single is out, because this might be a track, but the label doesn't want me to play new songs yet."
"I promise I won't update it." She said.
"Thank you." I said.

"I'm walking fast through the traffic lights
Busy streets and busy lives
And all we know
Is touch and go
We are alone with our changing minds
We fall in love 'til it hurts or bleeds or fades in time

And I never saw you coming
And I'll never be the same

You come around and the armor falls
Pierce the room like a cannonball
Now all we know is don't let go
We are alone, just you and me
Up in your room and our slates are clean
Just twin fire signs
Four blue eyes

So you were never a saint
And I've loved in shades of wrong
We learn to live with the pain
Mosaic broken hearts
But this love is brave and wild

And I never saw you coming
And I'll never be the same

This is a state of grace
This is the worthwhile fight
Love is a ruthless game
Unless you play it good and right
These are the hands of fate
You're my Achilles heel
This is the golden age of something good and right and real

And I never saw you coming
And I'll never be the same

And I never saw you coming
And I'll never be the same

This is a state of grace
This is the worthwhile fight
Love is a ruthless game
Unless you play it good and right" I finished singing the song.
"KARLIE, THAT SONG IS AMAZING!!! Omg!!" She screamed.
"Thank you! And remember, the best people in life are free." I said.
She gave a hug and took a quick selfie and the she left.
"Karlie that song was literally amazing! But if you look behind us you see someone that was watching you." Rachel said. I looked behind, I saw Chandler. He was facing a locket, Brianna was wearing the same one when she was here. I cried. Chandler came to us.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"You really still want to know what's WRONG?! You really do not get it do you? YOU ruined the relationship, Karlie just ended it. And staring at Brianna's locket isn't really smart when you KNOW Karlie was right there in front of you. Yea you two broke up just accept it. Karlie might have an hard time accepting it but when she's accepted it, she'll be in Nashville. If you really love her you visit her in Nashville even when you have to ring doorbells from house till house until you find hers." Rachel really pushed her words in his face it was kinda hilarious. Chandler looked at me but I grabbed Rachel's arm and walked away.
"Wanna sleep at my place?" I asked.
"Sure, but I have school tomorrow yea?"
"Yea." I said.
We walked to Rachel's house to get her stuff and then to my house. We were talking for it felt like hours and the we fell asleep between the boxed Minecraft room.
