Chapter 23

My alarm went off at 4 am.
"This is way to early." Rachel said.
"I know, but I still have to pack my clothes and that stuff..." I said. While pointing to some stuff in the corner.
"Wow hold on, I thought you were going to burn that stuff..." Rachel said.
"Yea, but I can't." I said.
"I understand." Rachel said. I walked in to the bathroom to get dressed. I put on a blue skirt, a grey crop top, a grey and white flannel and I put on my blue Nikes. I walked back to my room. Rachel and I put the left over stuff into boxes and then we brought it to the truck.
"Wanna drop me off at school?" Rachel asked.
"Of course." I said.
We had some breakfast and then we left. Left Atlanta, left my home but we went to a howl new bright future.
"Goodbye, home." I whispered to my house. We drove to school to drop off Rachel. When we arrived, I hugged her and we both cried. I saw the principal she waved at me I waved back. When I saw Chandler I gave Rachel one big hug and told her I were going to visit her every weekend. And the I got into the car.
Chandler came running to the car.
"Karlie!" He screamed.
"Mom just please drive." I said.
My mom she drove away, I waved at Rachel and Chan was just standing on the road looking to the car driving away.
CHANDLERS P.O.V.
She is just drove away. I might see her on filming days and on cons but I just totally messed up.
"You might think you are out of the woods, but you're not in the clear yet." I heard a voice behind me it was Rachel.
"I know.." I said.
"You know, I am the cause of this relationship. I was the one passing out while seeing you😂 and because I am the cause of this relationship I am also the cause of the breakup." She said.
"You know, I'm not mad at you. I'm grateful." I said.
"Okay...?" She said.
"I've had the opportunity to spend the most magical months with the most beautiful girl I've ever met. And I threw it away like a crumbled up piece of paper. And I'll never forgive myself for doing that." I said.
"Why are you telling me this now?! If you've had told Karlie this you would've had so much more chance winning her back!" She said. She walked away.
I am so stupid! I RUINED EVERYTHING!
KARLIES P.O.V.
We finally arrived at our new house in Nashville. It was HUGE.
"Wow." I said.
"This is our new home." My mom said.
My dad drove with the truck that had our stuff they were already bringing in some stuff.
I got out of the car and carried some of my stuff to my new room.
"Holy ground, can't swear mom, this is amazing!" I told her.
I had my own bathroom, a walk in closet (every girls dream) and the room was painted white, but one wall had the sunset on it.
"Mom that wall, that is something magical." I said.
"That's why we chose this room for you." She said.
"Thank You!" I said. I walked downstairs and helped with some stuff getting into the house.
I started unpacking for my room. I started with hanging my clothes into my closet. I got a text from Chandler.
C-"Tomorrow and Wednesday filming. And I had to remind you this weekend 2 cons in Philadelphia." He texted
K-"Thanks." I replied.
C-"No problem." He answered.
I turned off my phone and I wanted to redecorate my room. I walked downstairs.
"Mom can I redecorate my room?" I asked.
"Yea sure, here's some money, be back in at least 3 hours." She said.
"Sure, thanks. Byee." I said as I walked out of the door. I grabbed my bike and cycled to the studio dropped theme my bike and walked to the craft store. I looked around and grabbed some stuff.
"Omg, I am so sorry!" I said while I bumped into someone. My stuff were all over the floor so I picked it all up.
"Let me help you." This voice said, it was a boy for sure.
He put my things back into the bag. We stood up, I noticed he was taller then me (imagine I am 5'7), and damn he was handsome.
"Nice to meet you." I said while shaking his hand. His warm soft hand.
"Nice to meet you at too, Ian Holland." He said.
"Karlie Heller. Are you dutch?" I asked.
"Yes I am, I moved from The Netherlands to Nashville for my dreams." He said.
"Don't you play in The Walking Dead?" He asked.
"Yes I do." I said while grabbing some more stuff for my room.
"That's amazing, I am a big fan of the show." He said. I walked o the counter to pay. I handed the lady my money and then we walked outside.
"I love the show too😂" I said.
"Wanna drink some coffee?" He asked.
"No, I don't." I said.
"Not really the answer I hoped for." He said.
"I don't really like coffee, I'd rather drink tea😂😂" I said while we walked to the Starbucks. I noticed the paparazzi was following us so I put on my sunglasses.
"The sun doesn't shine you know." Ian said.
"I know but the paparazzi with their camera flashes it's harmful for your eyes." I said.
"Now I know that too." He said.
"Here are some sun glasses." I said while handing him some sun glasses.
"It's very normal to have male sunglasses in your bag." He said.
"They... They uhm were still in there from my ex..." I said.
"Chandler?" He asked.
"Yes..." I said. We entered Starbucks.
"1 tea please." I said.
While I was looking for my wallet Ian grabbed my arm.
"I'll pay." He said.
"Thank you." I said.
We sat down at a table.
"So what is actually your dream?" I asked.
"I want to be a professional guitar player." He said.
"That's cool, like really amazing." I said.
"Thank you." He said.
"Do you sing too?" I asked.
"Yea, I do, but ai bet it's not ad good as you." He said.
I started blushing "Thank you." I said.
"Can I ask you a favor?" I asked.
"Sure." He said.
"Well, I am working on this song, but it only sounds good as a duet. Wanna be my partner?" I asked.
"Sure, I am honored." He said.
"Well grab your stuff we are going to the studio." I said.
Before he could answer I grabbed his arm and dragged him to the studio that was 2 streets away.
"Wow, this is huge." He said.
"I know right? So here's the plan here's the lyrics and just read it while I am singing and then we'll sing together."
"Okay, cool." He said.
-after I finished the song-
"That was amazing!" He said.
"Thank you. Let's play it together." I said.
"Yea, what's the song actually called?" He asked.
"The Last Time." I said.
I started playing on the piano.

I applauded "That was AMAZING!" I said, while I was putting the song on a cd.
"You have amazing writing skills." He said.
"Thank you, wanna drop it off at the label?" I asked.
"Ya!" He said. I put the demo in a case and we walked to my bike.
"You know the way to BMR?" I asked.
"Yes I do." He answered. I jumped on the back of my bike and Ian cycled to the label. We arrived and Ian was like overwhelmed. I walked to the reception.
"Is Scott here?" I asked.
"Yes he is, just knock on his door." She replied.
"Okay thank you." I said.
We walked up the stairs and I knocked on Scott's door.
"Come in." He said.
"Karlie!" He said.
"Hello." I said.
"Come in sit down." Scott said.
We sat down on the 2 chairs.
"This is Ian Holland." I said introducing Ian.
"It's such an honor to meet you." Ian said.
"Nice to meet you too." Scott said.
"Well so, K met Ian in the craft store and I had this crazy idea, because I have written this song and it was a duet so I asked Ian if he wanted to sing the song with me so we went to the studio recorded the song and then we immediately went here." I said while taking a deep breath and handing Scott the demo.
-after listening-
"Karlie, Ian that's amazing!" Scott said.
"Thank you!" We both said at the same time.
"This is going on the album! And Ian here's my card and we'll make an appointment on the rights you'll have on singing the song and the recording sessions." Scott said.
"Thank you so much." Ian said.
We walked to my bike.
"You changed my life thank you!" Ian said.
"That's kinda part of the package with me your life kinda gets on crazy roller coaster ride." I said.
Ian hugged me "Thank you." He said.
"I am totally going to break the rules but here's my number and I'll text you my address and tome you have to be at my place tomorrow because I am brining you to the set." I said while handing him my phone number.
"Thank you Karlie and see you tomorrow." He said while giving me another hug.
"Bye!" I said, while stepping on my bike. I cycled back home again with a huge bag of room decorations.
When I arrived home I texted Ian and then I decorated my room.
I had some dinner and then I went to my room I wanted to sleep early because I had to get up at like 3 and we have to leave at 4. I felt asleep and I had dreams again about me and Chan.
