Today I woke up at 7 am. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I put on some high waisted shorts, a pinkish top, a brown vest, some necklaces and some comfy sneakers. I put my guitar into the guitar case and grabbed another bag for my songbook and for my phone and keys and stuff. I walked downstairs and had some breakfast. After breakfast I grabbed my stuff and walked to my bike. I unlocked it and then I cycled to the studio. Today I cancelled school, because I planned a howl day at the studio to record everything I have until now. At 3 pm Ian comes too for the song again. It doesn't really matter tho I am with Chandler. I arrived at the studio.
"Hey guys." I said to the producer and the band.
"Hey Karlie." They replied.
"So we start with State Of Grace?" I asked.
"Yea sure." The band replied.
"So I want Paul and Grant on the electric guitar, Al on the drums and Amos on the bass. And then the rhythm goes like this." I said.
-30 minutes later-
"Okay, so we have done State Of Grace. So I am going to cross it away from my list." I said.
"We are going to play Today Was A Fairytale."
"Paul on the acoustic guitar, Grant on the electric guitar, Al on the drums, Amos on the bass and Liz background vocals."
-after recording Today Was A Fairytale-
"Okay, let's do The Moment I Knew." I said.
"David piano, Al drums, Liz background vocals and I'll play the guitar my own."
Recording The Moment I Knew went great! Probably because it is my first ever finished song and it was very emotional it brings back up all the memories.
-after recording The Moment I Knew-
"Let's do FEARLESS!!" I said. Everyone got excited.
"Grant and Paul electric guitar, Amos Bass, Al drums, Mike banjo, Liz and Caitlin background vocals and I'll do the acoustic guitar!" I said.
Recording Fearless was something different, there was a guitar solo, Al could go wild on the drums (not too wild) and The banjo with Mike just made the entire picture perfect!
-after recording Fearless-
We had a break for 5 minutes. I saw Ian walk in and I wanted to play the song that I've written for him first.
"Okay guys, before we play The Last Time, I'd like to play a song I've written yesterday in the car. This one is called All Too Well." I said.
"Paul electric guitar, Al drums, David piano, Amos bass and I'll do the acoustic guitar. And Paul, on some parts you do vocals, that's on your sheet for when." I said.
"Okay guys let's do this." I said.

"I walked through the door with you, the air was cold,
But something 'bout it felt like home somehow.
And I left my scarf there at your sister's house,
And you've still got it in your drawer even now.

Oh, your sweet disposition and my wide-eyed gaze.
We're singing in the car, getting lost Upstate.
Autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place,
And I can picture it after all these days.

And I know it's long gone,
And that magic's not here no more,
And I might be okay,
But I'm not fine at all.

'Cause there we are again on that little town street.
You almost ran the red 'cause you were looking over at me.
Wind in my hair, I was there, I remember it all too well.

Photo album on the counter, your cheeks were turning red.
You used to be a little kid with glasses in a twin sized bed
And your mother's telling stories about you on a tee ball team
You taught me 'bout your past, thinking your future was me.

And I know it's long gone
And there was nothing else I could do
And I forget about you long enough
To forget why I needed to...

'Cause there we are again in the middle of the night.
We're dancing around the kitchen in the refrigerator light
Down the stairs, I was there, I remember it all too well, yeah.

Well, maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much,
But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up.
Running scared, I was there, I remember it all too well.

Hey, you call me up again just to break me like a promise.
So casually cruel in the name of being honest.
I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here
'Cause I remember it all, all, all... too well.

Time won't fly, it's like I'm paralyzed by it
I'd like to be my old self again, but I'm still trying to find it
After plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own
Now you mail back my things and I walk home alone

But you keep my old scarf from that very first week
'Cause it reminds you of innocence and it smells like me
You can't get rid of it 'cause you remember it all too well, yeah

'Cause there we are again, when I loved you so
Back before you lost the one real thing you've ever known
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well

Wind in my hair, you were there, you remember it all
Down the stairs, you were there, you remember it all
It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well."
"Perfect guys!" I said.
"Okay, Ian come in. Let's record The Last Time now." I said and Ian walked in.
"David piano, Caitlin fiddle, Al drums, Grant acoustic guitar, Paul electric guitar and Daniel on the tambourine." I said.
Ian walked to me, "So I also remember it all too well."
"Just stand on your place and record this song."
-after recording The Last Time-
Ian had to go again.
"Bye. And good luck with the rest of the recording." He said.
"Bye." I said.
"Okay, let's record White Horse." I said.
"Paul acoustic guitar, Caitlin fiddle, David Piano, Al drums and Paul and Liz background vocals." I said.
-after recording White Horse-
"Okay let's record the last song of today, I Almost Do." I said.
"Grant acoustic guitar, Al drums, Amos bass and Liz background vocals." I said.
"Let's do this." I said.
-after recording White Horse-
"So I have a question for ya'll. Which song from today do ya'll think that has to be a single?" I asked.
"Fearless, it gives a good message out there." Liz said. And after that I heard a lot of I agree.
"Okay, then I'll go with the single to Scott." I said.
We cleaned up and left the studio. I cycled to BMR.
"Can I see Scott?" I asked the receptionist.
"Yes, he is in his office." She replied.
I ran up stairs and knocked on his door.
"Come in." He said.
"Hey Scott." I said.
"Hello Karlie sit down." I sat down.
"So today we have recorded 8 songs, and everyone agrees with Fearless being a single." I said, while handing the demo. We listened to the song.
"Karlie, I am getting the promotion team in here and then we'll talk about bringing out the single." He said.
"THANK YOU!" I basically screamed.
He called the promotion team and after 5 minutes they walked in. I shook there hands.
"So music video." One them said.
"I had a great idea for the music video." I said.
"Go ahead." Scott said.
"Well, I have this idea to five like a performance somewhere with fans and that we film them and me and the band performing." I said.
"That's a great idea, because it shows that you care about music, fans and your band." Another one said.
"So we are going to film tomorrow and then we'll bring out the single Thursday." Scott said.
"Great!" I said.
"So, we'll contact the band, a video producer, and location + tickets. Karlie you go on Twitter now and tweet that the tickets are on sale at 7 pm and that it is at the Bluebird Cafe." They said.
The promotion team immediately walked away and some were already calling.
"Bye Scott cya tomorrow." I said.
"Bye Karlie." He replied. I walked out of the door and from there I ran to my bike and cycled home as fast as I could.
When I arrived home I ran to my room and started tweeting.
'Big announcement in 2 minutes😬🎉' was my first tweet.
'Tomorrow at 4 pm performance at the Bluebird Cafe, tickets are on sale at 7 pm TODAY!🙀🎊' was my second tweet. I got like 2 thousand retweets and 5 thousand favorites. I also posted some pictures on Instagram.
-6:55 pm-
'TICKETS ARE ON SALE IN 5 MINUTES! DON'T MISS EM😘😬💕' I tweeted with the link to the ticket site.
After 10 minutes Scott called me.
"Karlie big news!" He said.
"What?" I asked.
"The tickets were sold out in 30 seconds!" He said very excited.
"OMG THAT IS AMAZING!" I screamed.
"Sorry for screaming in your ear." I apologized.
"Bye Karlie cya tomorrow." He said and hung up.
I started tweeting again. 'THE TICKETS WERE SOLD OUT IN 30 SECONDS?!! What's life even?!'
And the followed. 'If you have tickets, get dressed make costumes! I would appreciate it so much!😘😍'
I walked downstairs and told my parents the big news. We had dinner, after dinner I texted Rachel and Chandler. 'Tomorrow my place at 2 pm, don't come late.' I texted.
'And bring your family.' I texted again. 1 because I miss Grayson and 2 so my parents have some of the same aged people to talk to. I turned off my phone and I tried to sleep.
