Michael
I couldn't get to the airport fast enough. I needed to get out of Melbourne and back to Sydney. I couldn't believe Leah had betrayed me like that. Why would some one stoop so fucking low? I asked myself, as the cab pulled up to short term parking. I got out, paid the driver and grabbed my suitcase from the trunk, of the yellow vehicle.
Just as I was getting my bag out I heard something, "Michael?" Oh shit, "Michael!" The voice said, it was a guy rather than a girl; they always took the refusal of a photo less harshly
"I'm sorry mate," I told him, "it's not a good time,"
"I'm not after a photo mate," he said
"What do you want then?" I asked, I was confused
"I need to talk to you,"
"And you would be?"
"I'm Brandon," he told me, "Leah's ex,"
"She's all yours mate," I told him, "but she's not worth it,"
"That's why I need to talk to you,"
"What's up?" I grabbed my bag out of the trunk and closed it, knowing the driver would get pissed off if I kept him from getting another fare
"It's about what happened tonight,"
"I don't wanna talk about it,"
"You're going to want to though,"
"Okay, fine," I gave in, checking the time on my phone, I had half an hour at most, before I'd have to check in for my flightWe walked in to the airport and sat down at the small coffee shop, "Georgia set it all up," he blurted, and I gave him a look of confusion, "the day she went to visit Leah last week, she came up with a plan to destroy Leah, and hurt you in the process, making her hated by you, and the fans,"
"And how does this have anything to do with you?" I asked
"She asked for my help, and I turned her down," he said, his voice showing no emotion whatsoever
"So what you're saying is, Leah was telling the truth when I confronted her about it? The stories she told me were all true?"
"Yeah mate,"
"And the ones about you?"
"I don't know what she's told you about me, but yeah they probably are,"
"So what do I do then?" I asked him, I really didn't know what to do, should I go back and apologise? Or should I go home? I know that I really should go back, but something was telling me that she didn't want anything to do with me after I just stormed out
"You should go back, I didn't,"
"What do you mean you didn't?"
"Georgia told me shit about Leah once, it was a lie, but when I realised that that's what it was, it was too late,"
"So I go back then?"
"Yeah mate,"I said goodbye to Brandon, who had surprisingly been a huge help. I walked back to the cab rank and got in one straight away, and gave him Leah's address, "sorry mate," he said, "I can't take you there,"
"Why the fuck not?" I asked, I needed to get back to her
"There's been a huge accident, just off the freeway, four cars," he explained, "roads blocked off,"
"Fuck," I complained, "just get me to The Hilton, then,"
"No problems,"I got to the hotel, and checked in. Thankfully they weren't booked out. Went up to the room, and decided to call Leah. There was no answer, I tried again and again, and still nothing. "FUCK!" I screamed, not caring that anyone would hear me. I sat on the bed, my phone still in my hands, and decided to call one of the guys, "I'm sorry, the number you are trying to reach is turned off, please try again later," of course Ash has his phone off, I decided to call Calum, and the same thing happened. Luke was my last hope. So I dialled his number, "I'm sorry, the number you are trying to reach is turned off, please try again later," just my luck that all my band mates have their phones switched off. I tried calling Leah again, and there was still no answer.
I was drowning in my thoughts, worrying about the blonde girl, I'd become quite attached too. I just hoped that she wasn't spiralling back in to her old, yet still recent ways. I hoped that she hasn't caved and ran to the bottle shop and brought a bottle of wine.
