Chapter 8
"Come on Naruto-chan you need to keep up" Tori said, waiting once more about 100 yards for her… son to catch up. Naruto began to whine
"Tori-san, we have been running for half an hour, can we quit now?"
"Nope, you have a bunch of energy that needs to be used in a productive way, such as training or running and I am going to help you." Tori lectured the boy; Naruto caught up to her and put his hands on his knees as he took deep breaths. Tori sighed; he was really out of shape, and had no motivation. Tori decided on a change of tactic. "You want your face on that mountain right?" Tori said pointing to the massive faces of the past Hokages. Naruto looked up
"Yes! I want to be the next Hokage dattebayo" Naruto said and Tori smirked
"How can you expect to be Hokage when you can't even keep up with a girl who has no chakra?" Tori teased, and determination shined in Naruto's eyes
"Let's go dattebayo" Naruto said, energy flowing back into him and this time kept up with Tori for the most part
"Longer strides Naruto-chan, use chakra in your feet if you have trouble catching up, there you go" Tori said, they ran into the forest and Tori stopped, her heart beat was faster than normal and wiped off the sweat that formed on her brow. "Now for the fun part" Tori said grinning at her son "Now I will teach you some awesome tricks for you to use against that Sasuke dude" Tori said happily and Naruto's face brightened in anticipation
"Hit harder Naruto, good. Now do it more stealthily and faster" Tori chastised her student "Much better" Tori commented. "Now let's help your flexibility" Tori said "Let's start off with stretches" She said and showed him the stretches that would help him with his flexibility. "All right, first things first, the back flip"
"What do you mean you don't know where she is?" Anko yelled at Kakashi who was once again in his bed, trying to sleep when Anko barged in
"Prolly wi Na to" Kakashi mumbled under his comforter, trying to get the annoying kunoichi out of his room so he could sleep peacefully.
"What did you say?" Anko said warningly as she ripped the covers off the man. Kakashi growled
"Prolly with Naruto, now leave me alone" Kakashi growled at the woman as he replaced the covers. Anko left to find her charge
"1 2 3, much better, now kick higher and faster 1 2 3, very good Naruto-chan" Tori said as the angry kunoichi sent to guard the woman from the other world finally tracked her down
"Tori-san! What the hell do you think you are doing?"
"Letting out my excess energy" Tori said simply "And training Naruto-chan" Tori said
"Do you know how long I have been looking for you?" Anko said angrily and Tori looked up at the sky, judging from the sun she guessed it was around 9 o'clock in the morning
"About an hour?" Tori guessed
"I am your guard for a reason Tori-san!" Anko growled at the woman
"Not my fault you won't wake up and run with me when I want to, you have been replaced by Naruto-chan" Tori said teasingly, earning a grin from the boy "Very good Naruto-chan, let's take a break"
"If you get injured do you know who would be in trouble?" Anko asked, peeved that the woman cared more about the boy then the situation at hand
