"Luke! Come on, let's go inside!" I said, pulling him up and then pulling him inside, where Mali was just coming downstair.
"Who are you?" Mali asked, confused as Luke wrapped his arms around me, shivering, but happy to see me.
"Braelynn. But you can call me Brae." I said, wrapping my arms around Luke's shivering figure.
"Let me guess, Luke fell in the snow and refused to get up." Mali said.
"Did not." Luke mumbled.
"He did. You're Mali-Koa right?" I said.
"Yeah, that's me. So, I was just about to go shopping by myself.....would you like to join me?" Mali asked.
"D-D-Don't leave me here all c-c-cold." Luke complained, teeth chattering still.
"I'll go get you a blanket Luke." Mali said, running back upstairs and grabbing a blanket with penguins on it. How fitting. Luke wrapped the blanket around him and plopped on the couch.
"Stay with me!" Luke whined.
"Luke. I'm staying here for......hm.....let see......three months. You'll get plenty of me." I said laughing. Liam and the others were coming down in a month, to do album promo, so I'd go back when they go back.
"Stay......." He said, pouting.
"I need my girl time! I was kidnapped by men, so I've had plenty of men around me." I said, shaking my head and looking at Mali, who was staring at me because I said I was kidnapped.
"You were kidnapped?" Mali asked, surprised.
"Yeah. I was. By Louis and his ridiculous friends who thought it'd be funny to kidnap me and scare Liam so much he wouldn't let me out of a hug for two hours straight." I said, laughing.
"Wait.....It was LOUIS?" Luke yelled.
"Relax. I was part of the plan to prank Liam. I wanted to see what he did. I was staying in Doncaster with Louis and his friends for a while. They rented a house. But they DID take my phone, I wasn't lying about that. Saying they wanted me to focus on them, not some device."
"I'm going to kill Louis." Luke growled.
"Luke...........Please don't. I was part of the plan to prank my brother, so yeah. And anyways, I loooove Louis. He's awesome! I mean, I don't love-love him. Like, best friend love. We just got closer during that! And Liam punched Louis in the face and kicked him in the you-know-where, so he got what he deserved."
"Ugh." luke groaned.
"I'm going shopping with my new best friend, Mali-koa! BUH-BYE BOYS." I said, and waltzed out the door with Mali, who was laughing at me.
"He really likes you, you know." Mali said as she got in her car.
"Yeah." I said, nodding my head.
"Like, more than a best friend likes. He has a crush on you. He told me. And I kinda promised not to tell you if I ever met you but........I just had to!"
"Maybe I'll test him.....See if he can resist me. I need to buy some sexy dresses today." I said, smirking.
"Ooooh, that's a good one. Yeah, we need to do that. I'm going to take you to get your hair done and your make-up and your nails and we're finding you a REALLY sexy dress. I bet those boys will be drooling over you by the time I'm done with you." Mali said, turning the radio up as one of their songs came on. She started to sing along, and I focused on her voice, amazed by how good she was. Once we got to the mall-Mali was singing the whole way and noticed me watching her and she grinned at me, she pulled me into Nordstrom and into the dress section, and asked a helper where the sexiest dresses would be found.
"Trying to impress someone?" She said knowingly. Well, sorta knowingly.
"No, not really. Trying to see if four crazy boys will drool over me. Especially the one who has a crush on me. It's a plot. I need to look sexy!" I said, grinning at the assistant.
"Sounds fun. Come on, I know just the place." She said, and she pulled us out of nordstrom, her co-workers giving her weird looks.
"But....you work there." Mali said.
"It's my break." She said.
"Okaaaaay." I said, and we got pulled into a dress store. She started to grab random dresses off the hangers and led me to a dressing room.
"Okay! See you in a dress!" I said, and then got changed into the first one. *See image above* I walked out of the dressing room, and the helper and Mali were picking more dresses out for me.
"Mali!" I yelled, and she spun around, gasping when she saw me.
"You look......" Mali started.
"Worthy of four boys drooling over you." The helper finished.
"Hey, I never got your name." I said.
"It's Natalie." She said, smiling at me.
"Thank you Natalie. Mali, do you think this will do it?" I asked, spinning around.
"Don't do that! The dress is a little too short for you to spin...in public. Boys started staring at you greedily." Mali said, stopping my twirl.
"Then I think we found the one. I'll make sure to twirl for the boys, Mali."
"Yeah....that will get Luke drooling and willing to do anything for you."
"hm.........I could get him to do your laundry." I said, laughing.
"Yeah."
"Keep it on." One of the stores workers said, and she scanned the tag and then tore it off.
"hm thanks. How much?"
"It's on the house. The manager.....is stunned by how you look...so he paid for it." The worker said, glancing over at a man in a suit who was clearly checking me out.
"Shoes for this?" I said, and they both nodded.
"I called my boss and said that I was going to take a day off." Natalie said.
"Thank you!" I said, and I pulled them into a shoe store, where I got stared at by everybody. I ended up picking out blue flats with lace on the back. *See external link* I kept them on, and Natalie paid for them.
"Hair and make-up?" I said, and Natalie pulled me into the Sephora, and then we went through the store, picking out make-up that looked good on me. I then went to a nail place and got my nails done, before getting my hair done. It was put up into a bun, small blue flowers placed in the bun, a single braid leading up to it.
"I think you're ready." Mali said, looking at me satisfied as I saw a guy approach me shyly.
"H-Hi." He stuttered, and I smiled at him, and I could see he melted inside.
"Hi! What's you're name? I'm Brae!" I said enthusiastically, holding out my hand for him to shake, which he timidly took and shook it.
"I-I-I'm Luke." He replied.
"How ironic. I have a friend named Luke." I said laughing.
"Cool....." He said, trailing off.
"You like my look? Think I can get my four doofus friends to drool over me?" I said, grinning.
"You can get an-anyone to drool over you like that." He said, before running off, face red with embarrassment.
