Luke was still asleep in my arms when I woke up. Goosebumps were covering his skin even though the blankets were covering both of us, and incoherent mumbles escaped his parted lips. I ran my hands down his spine, causing him to shift and cuddle further into me. His skin was cold to the touch, and I frowned, knowing he was probably getting sick again. I carefully pulled one of his shirts back over his head and pulled his arms through the arm holes in an attempt to help him conserve his body heat, Luke not waking up through it all. I climbed out of bed, wrapping the comforter tighter around his body, before pressing a kiss to his forehead. I walked out into the living room to find Calum wrapped up in blankets as well, a tissue box by his head as he tiredly watched TV.
"Aw, is my bestie sick?" I said when he looked at me and pouted. He nodded, and I giggled.
"Well then I guess Mike and Ash will have to go with me to the show then. Luke's sick too." I continued. He frantically shook his head, wanting to go to the show.
"If you want to." I gave in, ruffling his hair. He glared at me, and I smirked at him.
"He's also on vocal rest. Luke should go on it too." Ash said, appearing in the doorway.
"Yeah, of course. I'll tell Luke when he wakes up. Where'd Ember go?" I asked.
"She never came home." Ashton responded with.
"She never came home after going to a club?" I said, suspicious.
"No, she didn't." Ashton answered. Calum confirmed this with a nod, frowning when he figured out what I was suspicious about.
"She might've gone to her family's house." I pondered, knowing some of her family lived here.
"Maybe." Ashton said, shrugging and disappearing again.
"I'll make you some tea." I said, kissing Calum's forehead and walking into the kitchen, getting the kettle out and the tea packages. I prepared Calum's favorite type of tea, while preparing myself a cup of coffee. I walked into the room and handed him his tea, before going to check in on Luke. He was awake, sitting up and holding his head in his hands and quiet sobs were escaping his mouth.
"Babe?" I said gently, sitting down next to him and setting my coffee down on the bedside table. His arms immediately wrapped around me, his face buried in my neck. I ran my hands up and down his spine in an attempt to soothe him. His computer was open, and I clicked play on the video he played for me two days ago, before the giant party. He looked at me as he heard the audio to the video, before turning his attention to the video he created. I left him to watch his video, going into the living room to see Calum asleep on the couch already. I walked back into the room, snuggling into Luke as he watched the video, tears in his eyes. The video finished, and he cuddled into me, not saying anything.
"Vocal rest time, penguin." I whispered in his ear, and he nodded, closing his eyes and falling asleep with his head on my chest. Ten minutes later, Calum came stumbling into the room, a blanket wrapped around his body. I extended my free arm, and he crawled into it, falling asleep using my shoulder as a pillow. The fashion show was at night, and we had to be there at about 4 PM. It was currently 2, so the boys could sleep for about another hour or so.
1 Hour Later~
"Boys." I whispered, shaking them awake. They both groaned, snuggling further into me. "You've got to get ready for the fashion show." I added, and their response was snuggling even further into me.
"There's free food there." I added, and with that they slowly got into action, as I brushed my hair to make it easier for the stylist to style, and changed into more acceptable clothes for public. The two sick boys were waiting for me by the door after an hour, and we drove to the venue, all three of us getting led backstage. Jace was in my dressing room, holding his dress in his arms. I smiled at him, taking the dress from him as he exited. Calum and Luke both collapsed on the couches, falling asleep immediately. I pulled the dress on, and ten minutes later my make up artist and hair stylist came in, and I was ready for the fashion show. About 20 minutes before I went out on the runway, I shook both of them awake, handing them both a hairbrush and their suits. They got changed, both of them frantically doing their hair and trying to not look like they were both fairly sick. They wandered out to their seats, which were coincidently next to the seat Jace got with his backstage pass. The next thirty minutes passed in a blue, and I could tell Luke's eyes were on me as I walked out in the newly designed dress. Luke got called up for a dance with me, and he carefully made his way up onto the runway. His arms wrapped around my waist as mine wrapped around his neck, and he buried his face in my neck once again, as we started to slowly dance to the music. And by dance I mean sway because that's the extent of our dancing skills. I heard soft snores coming from Luke, and I giggles at the fact that he fell asleep-again-while standing up and dancing. I guess the swaying was soothing to him. It was a good thing that was the last thing for tonight, because everybody but Calum and Jace filed out. And Calum had also fallen asleep, slouched in his chair. I sighed, wondering how I was going to get the two sick boys back home. I shook Luke awake, whispering in his ear. Jace was proactive and shook Calum awake, and I led each boy to my car, putting them both in the passenger seat. They leaned into each other, and I smiled at the sight as they both fell asleep. I buckled them, since they didn't do it themselves, before turning to Jace.
