"No, Maggie!" I said as she chased me around the mall.
"Come on, try on the dress!" She pleaded.
"No, I already have that one anyways!" I tried. I did have it already, it was one of the first ones I tried on when I started my modeling career.
"What?" Maggie said.
"I already have that one. I've had it for like half a year now. Haven't had a chance to wear it yet. Maybe to the movie premier next week me and Luke have to go to." I said.
"Shopping with a model who literally models EVERYTHING and keeps everything she models is HARD." Maggie pouted.
"I don't model band shirts!"
"You don't?"
"Just kidding, I do." I giggled.
"Ugh, is there anything you DON'T model?"
"Uh.........socks. Underwear. Bras." I said.
"WE CAN GO SOCK SHOPPING!" Maggie shrieked, dragging me over to a store with lots of socks.
"I have enough socks though, Mags." I said, laughing.
"But this is the only thing you don't model." She whined.
"We can go shopping for you." I suggested.
"I have enough clothes."
"So why are we shopping then? Let's go get our nails done!" I said, dragging her over to the nail salon.
"Whoa, it's Braelynn Payne! SHe's on the cover of like, every magazine!" The desk attendant said, staring at me in shock. Maggie grinned and bumped my hip playfully.
"Yup. That's me." I said, chuckling. They led us to two chairs and immediately started prepping our feet for nail polish.
"So, how's your life been going?" The person painting my nails asked me.
"It's been going pretty good. Smooth, no drama." I said, and she smiled.
"Luke's doing fine?"
"Perfectly fine."
"Do you know.......if any of the boys is looking for a potential girlfriend?" She hesitantly asked.
"No, all of them have their eye on someone." I replied with. That was a lie, and I immediately felt bad for telling it. I knew Ashton wasn't exactly looking for a girl, and neither was Michael. Calum did in fact have his eye on someone though. I didn't appreciate how she was using me to get information on my best friends relationship status, and how she seemed to want me to put in a good word for her.
"Do they? Do you mind telling me who?" She asked, not looking up at me at all.
"Sorry to burst your bubble, but the boys need some privacy in their lives. Who they like isn't mine to tell, and if you expect me to mention you and your relationship status and availability to them then you're going to be disappointed."
"I don't have to paint your nails, you know."
"And I don't have to pay you know." I retorted.
"Yes you do."
"I can also talk about the horrible women who works here who pries into people's personal lives way too much. And stop coming here."
"We're too good."
"I can easily find a better place. One without a women like you."
"Ugh, there's no better place in Australia!" She tried to keep me interested in coming back.
