Brae's POV~

After tearing the signs that each fan had up, I walked over to Luke, whose back was turned on the audience, and his face in his hands. Calum was in a similar position, so Ember came out and hugged him comfortingly.

"Babe?" I said gently, getting Luke to look at me.

"Talk to me babe." I added, and he shook his head furiously.

"Penguin, talk to me." I said, concern laced in my voice. He shook his head again, his mouth shut firmly.

"It's okay to cry, baby." I cooed, running my thumb across his cheeks as his eyes started to water. He shook his head again, turning away from me so I wouldn't see him cry. I frowned, since he never hid from me before. "Baby, look at me." I tried, and he refused to. It was extremely hot out, and his shirt was already stuck to hi back from his sweat. I ran my hands under his shirt, getting it unstuck, before tugging it over his body and head, not caring about the fact there was a bunch of fans around, probably taking photos of him shirtless. He hid his torso from view, curling into a little ball on the ground.

"Baby." I heard Ember say to Calum, trying to get him to talk to her. He shook his head as well, and I muttered under my breath.

"Please don't tell me they've gone mute." I muttered, causing Ember to look at me in confusion.

"Please. Please. Please. Please." I muttered, panicking with each passing moment I didn't hear either of their voices.

"Sing for me, babe. Sing for me." I said, seeing if he would do what he absolutely loved to do. No response. "Please, baby. Please." I pleaded, and frowned when Luke shook his head at me. Knowing I could do nothing for Luke at the moment, I walked over to Calum.

"Cal." I said, and he looked at me, his face showing his extreme sadness.

"This whole bands depressed." I muttered to myself, while opening my arms for him to fall into. Like Luke, Calum was sweaty, so I pulled his shirt over his head as well. He's been shirtless in countless photos, so nothing to worry about there.

"Cal, babe." Ember spoke gently, her hand resting on his shoulder in an attempt to comfort him.

"Sing for me, Cal. Sing for me, and only me." I said into his ear, as he started to sing ever so quietly. He was singing Unpredictable, and I started to sing along to the song. But, as soon as the song ended, Calum went quiet again.

"Baby, talk to me." Ember said desperately.

"Well fug." I said quite loudly, knowing what was up with both of the boys.

"What?" Ember said, confused.

"They won't speak. At all. Calum only sang for me. And that was so quiet I could barely hear him." I said, and Michael and Ashton understood immediately.

"They've gone mute." Michael clarified, and I nodded sadly, as Ember's face fell and tears welled in her eyes.

"Baby, I need to hear your voice." Ember said, trying her best to hold her tears back as she stared at Calum. Calum simply looked down at his feet ashamed, tears slowly streaming down his cheeks. I wiped them away with a swipe of my thumb across his cheeks, taking his hand and leading him backstage, before going back and pulling Luke up out of his ball on the stage, and bringing him backstage as well. Ember followed hesitantly, her face filled with sadness.

"Cal, can you sing for me again?" I asked, my voice gentle and soothing. He started to sing, just as soft as before. This time the song was Gotta Get Out, and I sang along to it as well.
