Chapter 4

"What's up Jess" Mason said as I walked in through the office door. I smiled at but just couldn't say a word. "So what are you up to?"
"Oh um" I couldn't form the words in my mouth. Every time I looked at him, I just can't stop thinking about how hot he is. "I think I'm here because in in trouble.." I said awkwardly. "You're in trouble?" Mason asked. "Um I think" I replied. I just couldn't help but notice his cool blue hoodie he has. It goes perfect with his eyes and his shoes. And I can't even talk about his hair today because it's too wondering to describe..
"You think?" Mason said as he interrupted my thoughts.
"Yeah.."
"Well I can help you with that."
"Wait what" I widened my eyes. "How"
Mason pulled out a pink slip and wrote something on it.
"You see I'm an office aid, I can just get you a slip and you don't even have to get into trouble. Just take the slip and hurry out so you don't get caught." He handed me a slip that said "Excused to class, situation was taken care of" "Oh my gosh Mason, thank you so much"
Mason winked at me "No problem" while I was about to turn around and head out the door, Mason stared at me.
"Umm is there something on my face? Did I put too much make-up?! I'm so sorry i.."
"Woah" Mason laughed. "Chill Jess, there's no need. And plus, I was just thinking that you should join Office Aid. It's really fun and you can get letter of recommendations from the secretaries."
My eyes glimmered. "I would love to join!" I shouted. I looked around me and noticed that I may have said that too loud. "I mean, yes" I said quietly.
"Okay" Mason said as he smiled "I'm going to recommend you but I also recommend you get to class before the principal walks in here"
"Right!" I agreed. Right as I left the office I glanced at Mason one more time. Because of his impeccable beauty I placed my foot under my right foot and tripped. Ugh, stupid Jessica. I always mess up. When I got back to class I just did what I had to do. I finished l my work and listened in class. And throughout the whole day, it was the same routine. Listen to instructions, finish work, be quiet while sleeping until class was over. At the end of the day I started walking towards the buses. I saw a lot of my friends and I had a small conversations with them too. As I got in the bus, I saw that May was already in, saving a seat for me. "Thanks" I said as I sat down "I have so much to tell you"
"But first I need to tell you this" May said firmly.
"What is it?" I asked.
It took a moment for May to take in the answer but she finally said it
"Do you know Rick Trumbull?" May asked.
"You mean the jock that hangs out with Mason?"
"Yeah" May replied "Well..."
I raised my eyebrow, not knowing where this was going but she finally said it.
"He asked me out, like to be his girlfriend......"
