Chapter 13

I automatically nodded my head.
"Yes! I would love to go out with you!" I screamed in delight and hugged him. Oh my gosh, hugging Mason was the best thing ever, his cologne just made this hug like heaven and not to mention his soft and comfy hoodie. Just then, the school bell rang and I was going to be late for class.
"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"
"Jessica" Mason smiled. "You don't need to be sorry." He kissed me on the cheek and walked off.
I couldn't stop blushing but I decided to go to my next class. As I walked through the hallways, thoughts swarmed over me. This was my second boyfriend. My first was the biggest douche ever. I don't want to say his name but he's in this school. I hated him.. What did I even see in this guy? I'm glad i ended that relationship because what he did to me was.. Just then I thought to myself, this was all so sudden. I didn't know he liked me. He just all of a sudden asked me out. And then.. He kissed me.... Who does that the first time they start dating? Well, May kissed Rick that fast but.. It just seems so weird. And it just... Seems so fast. Like Maddison is behind the curtains waiting to ruin my life. But that can't be, he would ask me if...
I stopped myself. Rick... He never told me that the big secret. I cursed under my breath and walked into my math class. Mr.Adams was standing in front of the class. "Jessica, is today going to be better than yesterday"
I put on a smile and said "Yes Mr.Adams" as I sat down I decided to write down my plans for revenge on Maddison. Then it hit me... I can't let silly things like this get in the way of my grades. I had to try to do better today, I had to.
Throughout the whole class period I struggled paying attention in class but it was worth it because I finished my work early and started making a list.
But I have to admit, trying to think of ways to destroy Maddison was actually really hard. I had to think of something that will ruin her.... Something that will.. I got it! I wrote down my idea and was about to write down more but the bell rang and I went to my bus.
After my bus ride home, I went to May's house to check if she was there. I rang her doorbell and May popped up.
"Hey Jessica! What's up?" She asked.
"Um, I need a friend" I whimpered. She let me in and we went upstairs into her room. "What's up?" She asked as we closed the door.
"Well you see.."
I told her everything. The whole story today, expect for Rick and Mason. I don't know why I didn't include Mason but I just didn't.
"Ahh I see" she smirked. "Well then! Let's get funky!" She moved her hips and I started laughing. She ran to her closet and when she came back, she had a whiteboard and an expo marker in her hand..
"What's that for?" I asked.
"To mark our evil plans" she replied.
We both sat down on her bed and started to think.
"Okay well let's see." May said. "What's annoying about her.."
"Ummm" I interrupted. "She's perky, annoying, a slut and.."
"Wait.." May yelled. "What if we ruined her love life?!"
I looked at her. Maddison dated so many guys, even I can admit that we can't keep up with that.
"Like Mason!" She excailmed. "And all the other people she flirts with" she said with joy.
I let this idea sink in, I guess now is already a good time to tell her.
"Well you see May, Mason asked me out today and now we're dating.."
"Wait what.." She stood up faster than a girl on her period on a Thursday night. "What the fuck do you mean?! Are you lying?!"
"No" I said carefully. "I was going to mention it to you but.."
"Oh my gosh Jess I cannot believe this right now.."
"What?"
"AHHH I'm so excited for you!"
"Um.." I felt awkward because this all happened so fast...
"Let's talk about it later.."
"Wait come on! Your crush just asked you out, it had to be.."
"Look are we going to finish this plot or not because I'm not going to stand here and fucking do shit.. Okay?!" I yelled.
I just realized what I did.. I snapped at May...
Oh my gosh. What did I just do..
"Um okay.." May said nervously.
"I'm sorry.."
"Forget about it.." She interrupted.
"So" I said. "How about the people she hangs out with?"
"Okay" May agreed.
I felt bad because I could tell May felt sad. But so far we had...

"Finally! We're finished!!" May exclaimed.
"I know right! This is going to be our revenge!!" I smirked. As we walked outside her house, I couldn't stop smirking. This year was going to be fun... If only Maddison knew what was coming for her.
