As I got paperwork done, assigned by Mrs.Calton (the superintendent) I was glancing over at Mason, who was working near the copy machine trying to make copies that a teacher assigned him too. I finished my paperwork and decided to go over to him. As I got up, I heard the door open. It was Frank Garnfield, head of the chess club.
"Hello Jessica, I didn't know you worked in the office"
I smiled. "I never expected myself to work here either. It just happened"
Frank smiled back and handed me the letter. "Give this to Principal Radar, say it's from Ms.Klink"
"Alright" I nodded.
"Oh and Jessica" he stopped me. "An old friend of mine keeps me up to date" He winked. "Life and riddles are like a chess match. You'll never know what is coming to you till your opponent is making the move" Frank's eyes flicked and he turned around to exit the office door. I stared at him as he walked out...what did he mean as in old friend?
I saw Mason walking over to me with a bunch of papers. "Wow. Some friend you got there, he's kind of creepy if you ask me" he laughed. I tilted me head "yeah he's pretty weird, I just don't understand what he meant by.." And then it happened. I tripped over my shoes and all my papers fell down. I got up and tried picking them up but Mason was in my way. "Oh let me help!" Mason said. As I was picking up my papers, I accidentally stepped on Mason's shoe and tumbled back. "Omg im so sorry" I said in disgrace. I stumbled back onto the desk and I fell down to the ground. And as Mason was trying to help me up, I couldn't help notice the hot cologne he was wearing. It fitted his hot nature, but I didn't realize that I had control over my body and went weightless because of Mason and his hotness, and there I was. Falling on top of Mason as we both hit the ground. We were face to face, in the romance novels I would have kissed him, but being the shy type of girl I was, I stood up and picked up my papers. I kept apologizing to him but he kept saying that it was fine and he laughed. I also couldn't stop blushing because I couldn't resist stop thinking about the moment where I was so close to him and I fell onto him. That moment sticks on to me in my entire life. As I got all his papers organized I quickly looked through the SNAP shelf. It's where there are deliveries from the counsellors to the students or teachers to the student or just the students have to get in general. There was one letter, I checked to see who it was so I'd make sure it get sent to that student safely... And it was me. On the letter it said

Jessica Fiah
-Counselor

I picked up the envelope, what could this be? As I open the letter, Mason noticed me opening the envelope.
"Oh that's your schedule"
"My schedule?!" I said in confusion.
"Yeah" he said. "Apparently they made a new schedule for you because office aid messed things up."
I was about to ask how office aid can mess up a schedule but I decided to let it be. I trust to counsellors.
The bell rang. I waved at Mason and he waved back. This morning was a complete embarrassment but maybe it will get better. As I walked up to my new science room (according to my new schedule) I noticed that I never recognized this teacher as a freshman teacher. I decided to walk in and just sit down. I didn't realize a girl was standing right in front of me, I noticed that this is her spot so I apologized and went to sit somewhere else. As I got my stuff ready I noticed something.. I didn't recognize any of these "classmates". And then it hit me! Oh no...
Just then the teacher walked in with a big smile and clapped her hands. "Seniors!"
Oh my gosh! I'm in the wrong class!! But how?! I raised my hand and told them the whole story, after that situation got fixed everyone was laughing at me and I was just sitting there blushing like crazy. How could this happen?!
"Well" the teacher said. "Go to the counsellors and see what's up".
I nodded and took my stuff. As I walked out, my face was red as the sun. I couldn't believe what just happened..
"Ahh Jessica!"
I turned around. It was Luke Armstrong, the weird guy that always hangs out with people like Frank. Come to think of it, he hangs out with everyone.
"Um hi, Luke.."
"Haha, lost are we?"
"Actually no. I'm on my way to the counsellors"
Luke studied me carefully. "Come with me" He winked. "I need to tell you something"
