Your POV

I push a strand of Lauren's hair behind her hair. Lauren is sleeping, and I'm watching her. It sounds creepy, but Lauren is beautiful.

I sigh and kiss her on the cheek, then laying back down and wrapping my arms around her waist, bringing her closer to me as I nuzzle my head into the crook of her neck.

I look to my side, but the space is empty. I stand up and walk over to my closest, then opening it. I grab one of her old hoodies that I kept, putting it on and getting back into the bed.

I pull the pillow closer to me, shutting my eyes as I fall asleep to the scent of Lauren.

Lauren's POV

My hands skim over the picture of Y/N and me. My thumb brushes over her face.

"I miss you." I whisper, putting the picture back into the closest. I get into the bed, just as Brad enters in boxers and a t-shirt.

He gets in next to me, turning off the lamp. His arms wrap around my waist and he pulls me closer.

"I love you." He mumbles into my ear. I close my eyes, pretending to be asleep.

Your POV

I lay Lauren down gently on the bed. I hover over her, looking into her eyes. She smiles at me, her eyes showing love.

"Are you sure?" I ask her, my fingers tracing over her stomach.

"Yeah," She whispers, nodding. "I'm sure. I want you to be my first, I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Lauren."

"Why didn't you give her attention?"

"My mother was sick," I state, looking at my therapist. "She recently died. She had Alzheimers. I was taking care of her, then drinking my sorrows out, but I never cheated on her."

"You said she cheated on you, correct?" He asks.

"Yes, with my best friend." I confirm. "They're a couple now."

Before he can say anything else, the timer goes off, signaling our time is up.

"Sorry, Y/N. That's all the time we have."

"Yeah, thanks Simon." I say, grabbing my jacket and leaving. As I exit the building, I put my jacket on.

I walk down to the local bar, entering. I sit down at the bar, my head in my hands.

"Hey Y/N." I look up to see Demi.

"Hey Demi, give me the usual." I say. Demi is a bartender, and another one of my best friends.

"What's wrong with you know?" She asks, handing me a beer.

"Lauren is back," I state before sipping my beer. "Along with Brad. Oh, and my mother died."

"As in Lauren Lauren?" Demi asks.

"I said the name Brad too, so obviously." I mummer, rolling my eyes.

"Oh. Are you guys going to be friends?" She ignores my smart ass comment.

"We're trying," I sigh. "I don't think we can just be friends, though. Because no matter what, we'll always have that type of bond. We'll always love each other."

"So you still love her?"

I sip my beer, looking down at the table, then up at Demi, who is looking at me expectantly.

"Yes. I always will."

----

I walk into the cafe, getting my coffee. I turn around and see Lauren sitting in the far corner, reading a book.

I hesitantly walk over to her, then sitting down.

"Hello." I say, causing her to look up.

"Oh, hey Y/N." Lauren greets me, putting her book down.

I smile at her, taking in her appearance. She's wearing high waisted jeans, a white crop top and white converses. Her raven colored hair is let down, falling over her left shoulder.

"Hey babe." I snap out my thoughts and look up to see Brad. "Sorry I'm lat-oh, hey Y/N."

"Hi," I mumble, standing up. "I have to go. Have a nice, uh, day." I look mostly at Lauren. She stares at me with an apologetic look.

I shake my head, rushing out of the cafe.
