Your POV

Lauren and I aren't fighting anymore. I got over the fact that she doesn't love me - yet. She will love me. She will love me because she did before, so why can't she again?

I hear singing from the shower. It's Lauren's husky voice. I've missed that too. Waking up to her singing or hearing her singing - it blesses my ears.

I decide to strip off my clothes and step into the bathroom. I open the curtain, getting in behind her.

I place my hands on her hips, wrapping my arms around her. I rest my chin on her shoulder, listening to her signing.

"Oh, hello." Lauren stops singing.

"No, keep singing, please." I mumble, placing a kiss on her shoulder.

But darling,
You are the only exception.
You are the only exception.
You are the only exception.
You are the only exception.

I smile, softly sighing.

-----

"Hey mom," I greet her, sitting down. "How are you?"

"Huh? Who are you?" She squints her eyes at me. "Oh! Y/N! I have no time to cuddle you, I have work." I look down at the table to see her food untouched and she's writing random things down.

I sigh, "You remember Lauren, right?" She nods, but doesn't say anything. "We broke up."

She sats her pen down, "What'd you do? Cheat on her? Don't become your father."

I scoff, "No, mother. She cheated on me."

"You know what she said? To not become my father. To not leave and run away." I tell Simon.

"You didn't, did you?" He asks, folding his hands.

"No," I shake my head. "In fact, we're back together now."

----

"Hey, where were you?" Lauren asks once I walk through the door.

"I had an appointment for counseling," I tell her. "Sorry I didn't leave a note, I was running late."

"It's fine, I just got worried," she smiles at me, standing up. "What'd you guys talk about?"

I sigh, "About my mother."

"Oh."

"Yep." I say, walking over to her. "How was your day?"

"Boring." Lauren pouts. I place my hands on her hips as she wraps hers around my neck.

"How about now?" I look into her eyes, smiling.

"Eh, it's still boring." She grins.

I gasp, "Take that back!" She shakes her head, grinning. "Take it back now!"

"Or what?" She challenges. I bite my lip and pick her up, causing her to squeal and wrap her legs around my waist.

"Or, no kisses for the rest of the week." I smirk, looking at her.

"That effects you and me both, soo.." Lauren trails off.

"You have a point there." I laugh, carrying her to my bedroom.

I drop her onto the bed, her giggling. I smile and collapse next to her. I turn on my side, looking at her. Lauren does the same, now looking at me.

Lauren practically lives here with Bea and I. And I've been thinking, why doesn't she just move in?

"Lauren," I break the silence. "Move in with me?"

"What?"

"I mean - you practically live here with us and I just want it to be official, I understand if you don't I mean it's no-" Lauren cuts me off with a kiss.

"Yes, I'll move in with you."

"Awesome." I breath out, a hint of pink on my cheeks, a grin spreading over my face.
