Your POV

It's snowing.

I put on my coat, mittens, scarf and hat. I exit the apartment, smiling at the snow.

----

"It's snowing."

"I know." Demi responds.

"It's depressing."

"How?" She asks.

"Lauren and I used to play in the snow. We loved the snow, winter was our season. And now I hate it." I grumble, taking a sip of the beer.

"And?"

"And it reminds me why I'm still in love with her."

----

Lauren's POV

I stare out of the window, watching the snow fall to the ground. I sigh and rest my head on the window.

"Laur! It's snowing!" Brad exclaims.

"I know." I mumble.

"Let's go outside!"

"I'm not feeling well, Brad." I say. It's true. I'm not. The snow reminds me of Y/N.

"You're never feeling well," Brad mumbles. "I try so hard, and you ignore me." I look at him, then get up.

I walk towards the bedroom, shutting the door.

Your POV

I knock on my dad's door. It opens, revealing Shannon.

"Hey Shannon, is my dad here?" I ask, looking at him.

"No. What's wrong?" He asks, stepping aside and letting me in.

"Uh, I can wait for him." I really don't want to tell Shannon, I mean, he's not my dad.

"Look, Y/N," Shannon sighs. "I understand that it'll take time to get use to me. But, you can talk to me. Your dad would want that."

I sit down, putting my hands behind my neck.

"I hate the snow."

"Why is that?"

"My ex-girlfriend and I used to love the snow. It was our favorite season," I explain. "She uh, she cheated on me with my best friend, they're a couple now."

"Was that the green eyed girl?" He asks.

"Yes, and next to her was Brad. Her name is Lauren."

"You still love her?"

"Of course."

"Then go for it. Don't let Brad hold you back, because I'm pretty sure she still loves you. You're young, you can go get the girl. You love her, she loves you. So go to her apartment or house or whatever she lives in, and get the girl." Shannon tells me, looking at me.

I smile and get up, then hugging him.

"Thank you."

He chuckles, "That's what I'm here for."

Maybe Shannon isn't that bad.

----

I stand in front of Lauren and Brad's door. I can do this. If I want Lauren back, I need to do this. I need her to be mine again.

I watch as Lauren struggles to ice skate. I laugh and skate over her.

"Need help?"

"No, I'm a master at this," She sarcastically says. "Of course I need help!"

I laugh and put my hands on her hips, then leaning into her.

"Let go of the railing, I got you." I instruct her, whispering in her ear. Lauren let's go of the railing, slowly bringing her hands down. "Now, move slowly."

"If you drop me, I swear to god, Y/N."

"I promise I won't let you fall, and even if you do, I'll catch you."

Before I know it, my fist is knocking on the door. It opens, revealing Brad.

"Y/N?"

"Hey Brad, is uh, Lauren here?" I ask.

"Yes, but you can't see her." He states.

"Why not?"

"Because you're still in love with her. I see the way you look at her. But she's my girlfriend, not yours. She'll never be yours again. Deal with it." He goes to shut the door, but I put my foot between it.

I push the door open, seeing as I'm stronger than Brad.

"Get out!" Brad shouts, pushing me. I don't budge as I hear a bedroom door open and close.

"Bradley?" Lauren appears. "Y/N?" I shove Brad off of me and stare at Lauren. "What're you doing here?"

"I-"

"She was just leaving." Brad cuts me off.

"No-"

"Yes."

"No, Lauren," I say. "I just-"

"Was just leaving." He cuts me off again.

"Shut up, Brad!" I shout. "Lauren, I love you. I've never stopped. Please, Lauren. I can't be your friend. I can't be anything to you. I need to be something more than a friend. Not a best friend, but your girlfriend. I fucking love you."

"Lauren, she won't pay any attention to you. She'll screw up again. Lauren, choose me, I love you." Brad steps forward.

I feel tears come from my eyes as she looks between Brad and I.

She opens her mouth, but then closes it.

"The fact that you hesitated," I croak out. "Hurts me. I was there for you through everything, yet, you take to long to choose."

I run a hand through my hair.

Brad suddenly gets on his knee, then pulling out a box from his pocket.

"Lauren Michelle Jauregui, I love you. I love everything about you. I love your eyes, your hair, your body, everything. I love your personality. I love spending time with you. So, will you marry me?" He asks, pulling out a ring.

----

I hate Brad lmao

Sorry for the cliffhanger but yeah I'll update when I get home.

Have a great day!
