I Need You Now (Lauren / You)

Chapter 30

Your POV

"Happy Halloween!" Shay shouts throughout the apartment.

We recently moved back into the old apartment, where Bea and Lauren live. It's still in my name, so technically, I still own it.

I yawn, scratching my head as I walk out the room. I'm in boxers and a sweatshirt. Shay grins when she sees me, then runs and jumps on me.

"It's Halloween!"

"I know, baby, I know." I chuckle, setting her down. I look pass her to see Lauren starring at me. "Morning, Lauren."

"Morning." She mumbles, then looking down at her bowl of cereal.

The four of us, Shay, Bea, Lauren and I walk into the bar. It's all decorated for Halloween.

Shay grabs onto my hand as we follow Lauren and Bea to the booth. None of the others know that I'm back, so..

"Hey guys." Bea says, sitting down, then Lauren.

"Hi." I say, casually sitting down, Shay following me.

"Hey Y/N - wait. Y/N! Holy fuck!" Normani shouts, looking at me wide-eyed.

I scratch the back of my neck, "Hi."

"Where the hell have you been!?" Dinah questions.

"Uh, in LA. Guys, this is my girlfriend, Shay." I introduce Shay.

"Girlfriend?" Dinah cocks an eyebrow. "Mmk."

"Yeah, anyways, what's up with you guys?" I ask.

"I got a boyfriend! His name is Troy." Ally grins. "It took me awhile to get over Normani and stuff..but I did it!"

"Yeah, Normani and I are together now." Dinah says.

"And I'm with Shawn!" Camila exclaimed.

"Cool, and you, Lauren? Where's Luis?" I asked.

"We broke up." She simply stated.

"Oh."

I knocked on Ally's door. She was holding a Halloween party. Now, usually I'd be fine with going to one. But Lauren is also going. And if I'm being completely honest, I'm not over her.

But I have Shay and I'm happy with Shay. Ally opened it.

"You guys are the last ones, but come in!" She ushered us in.

I looked around, spotting Lauren. She's a vampire. Well fuck. I am definitely not over her.

And this is deja vu all over again. Except with no Brad.
