3rd Person POV
Charles Dickens is giving his reading from A Christmas Carol in side a theatre. "Now, it is a fact that there was nothing particular at all about the knocker on the door of this house, but let any man explain to me if he can, how it happened that Scrooge, having his key in the lock of the door, saw in the knocker, without it's undergoing any intermediate process of change, not a knocker, but Marley's face. Marley's face! It looked at Scrooge as Marley used to look. It looked like-" He was cut off by an old woman in one of the Rowan she began to faintly glow and give off a faint gas like substance. "Oh, my lord! It looked like that!" He exclaimed. Charles pointed to the old woman and the audience turned to see. "What phantasmagoria is this?" He yelled. The corpse rose from its seat and groaned loudly. The audience panicked and screams arose from the air.

The Doctor, The Rebel and Rose hear the screams from outside the theatre and the Doctor perked up. "That's more like it!" The three rushed inside.

[Theatre]

Inside the theatre, a blue gas entity is coming from the corpse and flying around the auditorium. The audience was fleeing in terror. "Stay in your seats, I beg you. It is a lantern show. It's trickery. Dickens shouted, trying to be heard. "Excuse me."  An old man shouted, moving towards the corpse. "There she is, sir!" His maid told him. "I can see that. The whole blooming world can see that!" He scolded her. The police arrived outside, blowing whistles, trying to move the crowd away.

"Fantastic!" The Doctor exclaimed, watching the corpse. Rose and The Rebel stood beside him in awe.
"Did you see where it came from?" The Doctor jumped onto the stage, next to a bewildered Charles Dickens. Rose and The Rebel stood in the middle of the crowd. "Ah, the wag reveals himself, does he? I trust you're satisfied, sir!" Dickens said. The old man, Sneed, and his maid, Gwyneth. "Oi! Leave her alone! Doctor, we'll get them!" Rose grabbed the Rebel's hand and they raced after Sneed and Gwyneth.

"Be careful! Did it say anything? Can it speak? I'm the Doctor, by the way." The Doctor said, driving his attention back to Dickens. "Doctor? You look more like a navvie." Dickens acknowledged. "What's wrong with this jumper?" He asked.

Outside the theatre, Rose and the Rebel gained on Gwyneth and Sneed. "What are you doin'?" The Rebel shouted. "Oh, it's a tragedy, miss. Don't worry yourself. Me and the master will deal with it. The fact is, this poor lady's been taken with the brain fever and we have to get her to the infirmary." Gwyneth pleaded, not wanting the two girls to get involved. "She's cold. She's dead! Oh, my God, what'd you do to her?" Rose asked.Sneed snuck up behind Rose and the Revel a put pad of cloth over their mouths. They both struggled briefly then passed out. "What did you do that for?" Gwyneth asked. "Both of them have seen too much. Get her in the hearse. Other one can sit in the front. Legs." Sneed said. The put Rose in the hearse with the dead woman, and The Rebel's body was out next to Gwyneth in the front, Gwyneth holding her up.
-----
The Doctor was still inside the theatre she. The blue gas entity flew into a gas light. "Gas! It's made of gas!" He said, excitedly. "Rose! Rebel!" He remembered that his two friends had left, and hadn't come back for awhile. "You're not escaping me, sir. What do you know about that hobgoblin, hmm? Projection on glass, I suppose. Who put you up to it?" Dickens asked, following the Doctor outside. The Doctor ward as the hearse rise away, with his two friends captive. "Yeah, mate. Not now, thanks. Oi, you! Follow that hearse!" The Doctor got into a nearby carriage and directed the driver to follow the hearse. "I can't do that, sir." The driver told him. "Why not?" The Doctor asked him. "I'll tell you why not. I'll give you a very good reason why not. Because this is my coach." Dickens climbed in the carriage and sat next to the Doctor. "Well, get in, then. Move!" The Doctor slammed the door closed and they rode off.
