"SHE'S WHAT?"
I nudged Aither and I whispered, "I told you, this is such a bad idea."
"No, its not." Then he said to his mom, "Ano na, Mom, Dad? Payag na kayo?"
"Well, okay lang naman. Since we owe her parents. So yeah, it's good." Tita Nyx said with a shrug. Wow, buti na lang helpful ang parents ko. Actually, di ko natatandaan sila Tita Nyx na naging family friend namin. Pero, wtf? Ang tagal na nilang nabuhay.
"If you need anything, hija, just let us know. And if Aither tries to take advantage to you, we are giving you the right to punch him in the face." Tito Eros told me.
"Noted, sir!" I said with a mock salute.
"Asa ka naman na mag-tetake advantage ako sa'yo no." Tapos tinignan niya pa ako from head to toe.
Sumimangot ako at hinampas siya, "See?! You're checking me out!"
"As if naman ang ganda niyang katawan mo no." Aba't! Di mo pa kasi nakikita 'to. Wait. Scratch that.
Sasagot pa sana ako kaso sumipol na si Tita Nyx, "Stop it, children. Sige na."
Tatalikod na sana sila kaso may last question pa ako, "Uh... Tita Nyx, I have a querry."
They all looked at me with one of their eyebrows raised. I inhaled deeply before speaking, "I just wanna know, if any of the pack members have fleas?" That's one of the reason why we don't live in packs.
Suddenly, Tita Nyx bursted out laughing. "Don't worry. I'm strict with that sort of stuff."
Tito Eros placed an arm around Tita Nyx, "Sounds familiar, right Sunshine?"
Sunshine? Aw. Cute.
"Excuse us, please. Feel at home, Spes." Then they went up.
Actually, Aither's parents are so adorable. The way they look at each other was just intense. Tito looks at her with so much fondness like everything she does warms his heart. While, Tita looks at him like he's the best thing that has ever happened to her.
I want that too. I want to fall inlove with someone who can love me enough to stay by my side forever. No, I don't mean that someone should be with me 24/7 just someone who can be there through good times and bad times, especially bad times.
"SPES!"
"Ay nyeta! Ano ba?!" Kasi naman eh! Istorbo sa pag-momoment ko.
Pinitik ako ni Aither sa tenga, "Minura pa ako. Titig ka lang ba sa hagdan namin o ano?"
Gumanti din ako ng pitik sa kanya, "Hindi kita minura, ungas. Sabi ko 'nyeta' wala naman akong binanggit na pronoun."
"Fine, fine, whatever you say. Let's go." Tapos nauna na siyang naglakad sa'kin.
"Sigurado ka ba talaga dito, Aither?" Tanong ko sa kanya habang naglalakad kami papunta sa bahay niya ata.
"Yep. Ano akala mo sa'kin nag-jojoke?"
"Yeah. Ikaw, alpha? Laughtrip lang. Hahaha." Pang iinis ko sa kanya.
"Ewan ko sa'yo." Nanahimik na lang ako. Baka mamaya biglang bawiin nito 'yung pagpayag niya sa pagtira ko.
"Okay." He said when we stopped infront of a bungalow that's made of bricks and has low white fences. "Since you'll be living here with me, wag kang choosy. 'Kay?"
