It had been a week since Tobi was forced into a coma. Unfortunately, Tobi hadn't woken up.

Lucy would visit him often. She'd walk into the room in the early mornings just to see Erza sleeping with her head placed at the foot of his bed.

In the afternoons, Erza would be either eating or still sleeping.

At night, although she'd stop as soon as Lucy entered the room, Erza would cry.

Lucy sighed as she closed the door and allowed Erza her crying time. In another week or so, Lucy's father would continue with the selection. In another week or so after that, Lucy would be married. Whether she liked it or not.

Lucy's thoughts drifted to the day Grimiore Heart attacked, just after Hades retreated and left his forces to fight.

Lucy was on her outlook, over watching everything that was happening. Everywhere, people were dying.

All because her father wanted her to get married.

Lucy hated that people were suffering, dying even, just for her. She hated it beyond anything.

Somewhere in her mind, Lucy's thoughts connected and she soon found herself with a knife in her hands. She raised the knife to her neck, and prepared to slice herself.

When Natsu jumped from behind her door and smacked the knife out of her hand.

"What the hell are you doing, Luce!?" Natsu yelled as he gripped her shoulders. He shook her violently, as if trying to shake her from he suicidal self.

Lucy could tell that with his injuries, he had run to her as soon as he'd defeated Hades.

"W-Why did you stop me?" Lucy asked, tears somehow streaming down her face.

"Because Luce.... I-..... I love you."

Lucy blushed at the memory, suddenly remembering how foolish she was.

'Well... atleast he confessed.' Lucy thought to herself. He not only confessed, he also asked her to be his girlfriend. Lucyy suddenly found herself laughing.

She went from staring and daydreaming to flirting and living her dream. She still hadn't answered him yet.

Part of her believed it was because of Tobi.

Did..... did Lucy love Tobi?

Erza was still crying. It happened every night, her tears coursing down her face at unimaginable speeds.

Suddenly, Erza felt a hand on her head.

"Didn't I tell you before? I hate it when people I love cry." said the male in the hospital bed.

Erza gawked.

"Tobi...." Erza said longingly. He had awakened, finally. Tobi had woken up. Erza never should have doubted her.

After all, the phoenix always revives.
