The Pirates Niece (Peter Pan OUAT) **Discontinued**

-Chapter Six-

||Max's POV||

"So there's no possible way to escape?" Baelfire asks. I shake my head. "None that I've found anyways. And believe me, if there was one, I'd probably found it by now." I tell him.

"We're getting off this island, and we're getting home. Wherever that may be." He states, like he knows we are. "You have hope, why can't he use you." I mutter, jokingly of course. He playfully smacks me and I give him a small grin. This is the longest decent conversation I've had with someone in a while.

Pan walks over to us with his arms crossed. "I told you, there's no escaping." He says, almost like he pities us even trying to escape. "Yeah, we'll see about that." Baelfire glares.

He laughs and walks off. "How have you put up with him?" Baelfire asks. I shrug. "Attempting to avoid him. Doesn't really work though. "

The next day, Baelfire ran up to me, out of breath, causing me to drop the berries I was picking. "Bloody hell Bae!" I groan. "S-Sorry, but I think I found a way off the island." He says. I laugh. "You're joking, that's impossible!" He grins, pushing his dark brown hair out of his eyes. "I thought so too." He grabs my hand and pulls me away.

He pulls me into a cave-like area. "Bae, what is this place?" I ask. He grins and shows me a coconut. "A coconut?" I ask in disbelief. "Not just any coconut, see these holes, they represent stars, if we can light the inside of it, and capture the shadow, then we can escape." I look at him in amazement. 

"BAELFIRE YOU'RE A GENIUS!" I scream hugging him. He grins. "Now, to start a fire." He trails off.

"Oh, easy." I grab two rocks and start scraping them against each other. "One thing you learn from being a Pirate is how to start a fire. Which is kind of stupid, because you're on a ship most of your life, but whatever." I grin when a fire sparks. "You did it." He grins. I nod. "Yeah, now, how on Earth do we catch the Shadow without Pan noticing?" Baelfire grins. "I know how. Come on. But you better be right."

I follow him out onto the beach and he opens the newly made candle. "Bae, the hell are you doing? Pan could see!" I whisper-shout. He puts a finger to his mouth in a 'shh' motion and points to the sky. Sure enough the Shadow comes swooping down into the candle. Bae snaps it shut and grabs my hand. "Come on. Lets go." He says and we start to fly.

We both laugh. "We're free!"
