I sat there on the curb outside the bunker. I was so mad and upset that I didn't care it was cold. I heard the door open behind me.

"I'm not in the mood, Sam." I said furiously.

"It's Dean." He said gently.

"Still. Just go away. I'm fine." I snapped, knowing he'd make me talk anyways. He sat down on the curb next to me.

"Miranda, just tell me what happened and I'll let you be." I knew he kept his promises, so I caved.

"Sam promised me he would talk about it once he woke up. He just told me he will never talk about it and that I had to let him be. I get that he needs time to think, but he promised and he's acting like he doesn't even care that I was with him the whole time." I said, noticing the true cold outside as the tear on my cheek felt hot compared to the rest of me.

"I'm sorry. I get why that upsets you. Sam gets this way sometimes. He'll come around. Please, come inside though. It's freezing." He urged.

"Just let me be alone. I'm fine." He didn't respond, and got up, so I assumed he left. Suddenly I felt something around my shoulders. He hugged me lightly as he placed it on me. It was his leather jacket. He almost never took it off. I didn't realize how much I needed it until I pulled it around my shoulders. Its warmth was a comforting contrast to the crisp chill in the air and the slight mist that started to fall. I was so upset with Sam that even when it started pouring, I didn't get up to go inside. I sat there. It was freezing, but it felt nice to be able to cry and have my tears melt into the rain. I was getting soaked in a matter of minutes. I didn't care. I moved my phone from my pocket to the pocket of Dean's jacket and put my earbuds in. The rain had slowed slightly, so I wasn't getting as drenched. It transitioned into a light misty rain and I began to doze slightly. I woke from the slight sleep to someone opening the door to the bunker. It was Dean.

"Miranda!!!" He shouted, concern present in his voice. "You have to get inside. You're gonna get sick and freeze to death." I was about to say I was fine, but Dean grabbed my arm and led me inside. I didn't realize how right he was until I felt the heat inside. I instantly erupted in shivers.

"D-Dean." I choked out. I was getting scared. I was so cold. I had never felt this cold in my life. "He-help me."

" It'll be ok. Here. Sit on the couch. I'm gonna get you some blankets." He said as he left to get some.

~Dean's POV~

She was soaked. How could I let her do this to herself? I should have dragged her back inside. I searched my closet and found several blankets. I wrapped her in them and sat with her on the couch. She now had 4 blankets and my jacket around her. It wasn't helping much.

"D-Dean, a-am I g-gonna be o-ok? H-how l-long was I o-out s-side?"

"You'll be ok we just gotta get you warmed up. You were out there for a couple hours. I should have gotten you sooner."

"You d-did what I a-asked you to d-do." She said quietly. It was hard for her to talk because she was shivering so much.

"Try not to talk so much." I scooted closer to her trying to allow her all the body heat I could. Then Sam comes walking in the room.

"Dean, can I- Miranda!" He shouts. "Dean, what happened?"

"You upset her, so she stepped outside to get some air. It started raining and she got soaked. I got her inside but she just won't warm up." I said, and couldn't help the breaking in my voice.

"Babe, come on. Let's get in bed. It might help you get warm." She nodded and followed him in.
