Our Summer

Chapter 1

     
May's POV

Today seemed to go slower than ever! It's June 2nd and tommorow is the last day of school. Tommorow me and Cole would be out of this place for three months but for now we're still stuck here.
      I guess today wasn't horrible just slow. At lunch me and Cole started talking about where we're gonna go this summer. we decided on traveling a little bit more around California then to New York. we decided to visit my cousin Hope! She is so fun and Me and Cole's age.
      ...............
          Later at my locker...
       "So Cole we're visiting my cousin and I'm super pumped how 'bout u?
     "Totally I can't wait to visit NY!"
        As I was about to agree with Cole I saw HIM my biggest crush in all of Woodland High, Nathan. I've had a huge crush on him since 8th grade. He has brown hair and brown eyes and is totally gorgeous. Nathan's locker just happened to be right next to mine so I got to see him a lot. While In the middle of my daydreaming I was interrupted by Cole.
"Ummm May what were you gonna say?"
" Oh sorry I was just ummmm."
" don't try to explain I understand."
"I'm so glad that you just get me like that."
I turned to get my Science notebook and that's when he started to talk.
"So I hear you girls are headed to New York this summer."
"Ya we are I'm going to visit my cousin in Buffalo."
"When are you going?"
"I think we're planning on going on June 8th. Why?"
     "Well my grandma also lives in Buffalo."
As I was about to respond the bell rings. Great! I hate science now because it just ruined a good conversation between my biggest crush. Then he says what might have just melted my heart!
     "We'll that's when I'm going to visit my grandma. Maybe we can hang sometime. I'll see you around May. Bye Cole."
      I turned around to almost freak out with Cole and that's when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and saw him again.
     "Hey here is my number. Text or call when you land in New York. We can meet up somewhere."
     I made sure he was all the way gone before I jumped up and down almost screaming.
    " ok, calm down and let's get to class."
If you ask me that just made my day. The rest of my day was pretty normal after he talked to me. Best last full day of school!
