Amelia's POV:

He leaned in and whispered "thanks for the ride" then passed out.I felt oddly disappointed for some reason.I shook the thoughts away and straightened up.

I started walking out the door and cast one more look in his direction and then left his room closing the door behind me.I saw Jennifer sitting at the bar stools in the kitchen I headed towards her and sat next her

"Mrs.-I mean Jennifer ..how did Archer get his fear of motorcycles?"I asked her she looked at me "he died on one."

She kept a straight face for a few minutes then lost it she started laughing.I just stared at her and then started laughing too she was still laughing a bit when she started talking.

"When he was 12 we got a bike that was actually Joe's..but he let Archer ride it with no supervision"She rolled her eyes

"And he crashed and luckily when he was thrown from it he landed on grass but he landed hard and he broke an arm but he apparently didn't feel the pain because he was in shock so he didn't feel it until he got to the hospital.

And realized what happened and screaming but he was screaming for morphine."

"Next time he saw a bike he kicked it"she laughed "really?"I asked in disbelief.She nodded "it was funny...do you hear that yelling?"

I strained my ears to hear it and I heard "WHERE IS AMELIA?!"I heard Ben scream.I laughed he was so dramatic...

I was about to hug Jennifer but I pulled back.She saw and pulled me into a bear hug "Amelia whenever you want to hug us you can okay?Even Archer and Joe"She smiled and I smiled.

I heard more yelling so I got up pulled her up to."What are you..."I shushed her and peeked out the door I laughed at Ben who was walking around yelling."Jennifer can you distract him?"

She nodded and I snuck out of the house and got closer to him hiding behind a car.I could see Jennifer waving at him he waved back and I jumped on his back.

"HI BEN!"I yelled scare the shit out of him.He shrieked and tried to knock me off his back.I poked his neck making him stop "Ben you dummy do you recognize my voice?" He relaxed and pulled me off and hugged me tightly."Do you know how scared I was?"

He pouted I poked his nose and smiled at him.I walked over to the bike and brought it back to my house.Then I remembered something...I punched him in the stomach he doubled over

"You made me wait for over a hour!"I yelled at him I walked away from his groaning figure and into the house.

I saw my mom in the living room and kissed her on the cheek and hugged her.She smiled at me and looked in my now black eyes."What happened?"

She said worry seeping into her voice.I told her everything that happened she looked proud and relieved..?

When I told her about me giving Archer a ride.Then her eyes narrowed at the waiting part."He made you wait for over an hour?!"She almost yelled but caught herself before she did.

She smirked and then said "give him hell Amelia" she winked at me and put on a poker face so when Ben came in he wouldn't know she knew.

I saw the door open and walked into the kitchen ignoring him.He came running into the kitchen and saw me he tried to hug me and I shoved him off.

I ignored his pleas and walked to my room I heard him behind me and slammed the door and locked it.He knocked on the door I sat on my bed and started reading my book I was on page 120 when I dozed off when I woke up the knocking had stopped and my phone was ringing I answered it and held it next to my head still half asleep.

I heard Sonic's voice and she sounded very happy so I tried to listen carefully.

"AMELIA!"

"Yeah..."

"It's my birthday!Wanna come to a club with me,Archer,Nick,Isabella,Damion,Harley and Juniper?Ben can come to if he wants?"

I was still half asleep so I said "Sure Ben and me will come what time?7:30 if you want I'll come and help you"I nodded then realized she couldn' t see me and I said ok.

I clicked the end call button and curled into a ball on my bed snuggled under my covers and closed my eyes.

I was about to fall asleep when I realized what I just heard "CRAP!"I yelled and fell out of bed I ran into my closet then rethought it and ran to my nightstand and grabbed my phone

Sonic just called me it's her birthday you have to come to a club with me,her,Archer,Nick,Juniper,Damion,Harley!-A

I felt my phone vibrate and looked at the text

What the hell?Why didn't she tell us?And why don't you want to talk to me face to face?-B

I growled ignoring the last part

Idk but we have to go she's a good friend and I don't want to hurt her.So get your ass ready we have to be there at 7:30!-A

7:30?!It's 6:30 Mel!Fine I'll get ready but I get to drive there.-B

I rolled my eyes..well since he said I don't have to drive with him...I smirked.

Fine but if your not ready by 7:30 I'm kicking your butt.-A

I got a "kay" back and I went to shower I came out 10 minutes later and went to look in my closet I pulled out a black dress then rethought it.

I grabbed black ripped shorts,gray beanie to keep my hair under control,Purple shirt with thin vest,my boots,my leather bracelet and my leather jacket Ben got me.I went in the bathroom and put on lip gloss and mascara so not a lot.

I threw my clothes on.I looked at my watch and it was 7 I grabbed my jacket and threw on my boots I ran down the stairs and I ran into...the door.I 'grrrred' to myself and stalked to Ben's room.

I opened the door silently I saw him walking around and I threw the door open he jumped 5 inches in the air and glared at me."Hi Ben"I said innocently.

I looked at him he was wearing new clothes so I nodded I ran out of the room confusing him and to the kitchen to get a drink.

I grabbed my  water bottle and chugged it down I hadn't had anything for 4 hours I was dying of thirst I finished the bottle and threw it in the bin.I checked my watch again It was 7 20 so I walked over to Sonic's house.

I knocked on the door and was met with a very stressed Sonic I was pulled in the house I looked at her she was wearing a robe and she looked very worried."Happy birthday Sonic"I said cheerfully she glared at me and I glared back.

she grabbed my hand and pulled me up the stairs to her room I looked around the room and saw Sonic I gaped at the room it was blue and had Sonic everywhere.

She hauled me to her closet and shoved me in "Pick me a dress please Lia!"I rolled my eyes and asked her what color."Purple!"She yelled I looked through and found a purple sparkle dress that had spagetti sleeves and a little black in it.

I opened the closet and threw it at her she shrieked and I rolled my eyes I picked out purple strappy shoes.I walked out and handed them to her I went back in and grabbed a 2 necklaces one was long and had a heart shaped lock on it with a key the other was a shorter one with a blue heart.

 I handed them to her and grabbed mascara and lip gloss I did her face and pulled her up she slipped on her shoes then checked her watch it was 10 seconds to 7:30 she screamed and ran down the stairs she grabbed Archer who was coming out of his room and shoved him into me.

Which made me fall down with him on top of me.He blushed and I smiled at him he leaned close and.....
