(WARNING: Anxiety mention)

Kevin came bursting into the hospital, taking deep breaths. He saw Avi pacing back and forth in front of the hospital seats, his oldest children looking down at their feet guiltily. Kevin quickly walked up to them, stopping Avi. Avi looked up at him and hugged him quickly, smiling when the warm embrace of his husband made him feel safe, to reassure him that everything will be okay.

"Is he okay?" Kevin questioned, not letting go of his husband. He felt Avi shrug and sniffed. "How long have you guys been here?"

"Two hours," Avi answered, finally letting go. He then turned to Kirstin and Scott, shaking his head. "Those two need a talk or two. I already grounded them for a month."

"Yeah, I was going to get to that," Kevin replied, crossing his arms. He then shook his head when his children looked up at him. "Why would you two ever do that to him?"

"We were jealous," Kirstin answered, her hair falling past her face. Tears welled up in her hazel eyes, making her realize what she did was wrong. "We shouldn't have listened to our friends."

"I was the one who made up the plan," Scott admitted, his blue eyes filling up with guilt. He cleared his throat, looking down at the ground. "I'm so, so sorry. I thought doing that to him will e funny."

"Why did you do it on the first place?" Kevin asked, surprisingly calm. He would usually being yelling by now. "You guys know that he got locked in the closet!"

"We know," Kirstin replied, letting the tears run down her face. "We just let our friends get the best of us."

"You two are grounded for two weeks longer," Kevin finalized, shaking his head. His children accepted the grounding period, wanting to forget about last night. "No friends, extra chores, come home right after school. You're lucky that your dad and I aren't taking dance and writing away."

Kirstin and Scott nodded as a female walked up to them. She looked at her clipboard and cleared her throat.

"Family of Mitchell Olusola?" She asked. They nodded and she smiled. "He's okay now. He's asleep. We managed to get him out of his panic attack, even though it was difficult. We gave him a sedative to calm him down, too. He is free to go home once you sign the release from. Follow me if you want to see him. I'm also his doctor, Dr. Phillis."

The family nodded as they followed the middle-aged woman down the long hallway, wondering about their little baby. The room 1016 was opened, showing a nurse standing by it. He smiled when he saw the family and allowed them inside.

"He's wide awake," the nurse informed, leaving the room. Dr. Phillis stayed in the room, sighing heavily. How was she going to say this?

"Hey, Mitchy," Avi spoke quietly, smiling when he saw his active nine year old son smiling back at him. "Are you tired?"

"I d-do-on-n't kn-no-ow-w," Mitch answered then yawned. He closed his eyes once more, falling asleep instantly. Kevin picked him up gently, smiling at Avi.

"Let's go home."

A couple weeks passed since the incident occurred. Everybody went on with their normal lives. Homeschooling was doing well and Kirstin and Scott went home right away after school unless they had dance team or writing lessons.

Everything was going great. Everything was happening the way the it was supposed to.

At least, that's what they thought.

Kevin sighed to himself as walked into the hospital, looking around his surroundings. A young lady smiled up at him in a flirtatious manner and he returned it.
