A YEAR LATER
Mitch looked at the mirror anxiously, sighing loudly as he adjusted his tie. Today is the day when he will become someone's lifelong love. Today is a commitment that he will live by until the day he dies. He turned towards the door, smiling when he saw his siblings on the other side.
"Hey, kiddo," Kirstin greeted warmly, smirking when Mitch stuck out his tongue. "What's the matter, Mitchy?"
"I-I'm-m n-no-ot-t a kid," Mitch argued playfully as Kirstin hugged him behind. Scott poured himself some wine and Mitch shook his head when he caught his older brother. "Scott, you b-be-et-tt-ter not get d-dr-ru-un-nk."
"I won't. Besides, Alex will hurt me if I get drunk in front of the kids," the twenty seven year old replied, laughing. He can't believe his kids are already five and four. "Guys, where did all the time go?"
"Tell me about it," Kirstin murmured, twenty five years old and simply gorgeous. Time seemed to go by so fast. "It just seems like yesterday that you and I started third and fourth grade. How did this go by so fast?"
"Re-re-me-mb-be-er w-wh-he-en I got home from the h-ho-hos-pit-tal?" Mitch asked, smiling fondly at the memory. Scott and Kirstin laughed and nodded, remembering it vividly. "You two got g-gr-ro-un-nd-ed for so long."
"It's not my fault that you liked Spongebob," Kirstin defended, laughing harder. Her brothers shook their heads, amused by their sister's craziness. She then frowned, the next memory making her guilty. "I'm so sorry about the closet trick, Mitchy. I really am."
"Me too," Scott spoke up, the guilt coming back. He hugged his brother gently. "I'm so sorry, Mitchy."
"I-I'm-m not m-ma-ad-d," Mitch responded, smiling at them. Scott then let go of him slowly, another memory coming along. "Re-re-me-mb-be-er when Dad and Papa a-al-mo-os-st-t got a d-div-vorc-ce?"
"Thank God they didn't," Kirstin replied quietly as Scott nodded. She then shook her head angrily when Mitch's bullies came back into her memory. "I still want to kill Mark, Matthew, and Nash."
"They're in jail for a long time so you can kill them when they come out," Scott reassured, smiling when Kirstin laughed. Memories came rushing back, making Scott feel nostalgic. "Guys, I'm so sentimental and I haven't even drank my wine yet."
"S-sa-am-me," Mitch agreed, looking over himself once more. Ariana and Alex then came in, smiling at the husband-to-be. "H-he-ey-y, g-gu-uys!"
"Hey, Mitchy," Ariana replied as she went up to Kirstin. They shared a quick kiss and Ariana smiled up at her wife. "Lilliana is with Avi. I hope she doesn't exert him."
Kirstin nodded sadly as she thought about her father. The treatments were working, but it took a toll on him. Avi became tired more easily and it just went to the point where his doctor just gave him a wheelchair. He then became wheelchair bound, which was easier for him but harder for the kids.
"Sara and Matt are with Esther," Alex confirmed, kissing Scott's cheek. The blond boy shook his head affectionately at the sweet gesture. "Are you drinking?"
"Noooo," Scott dragged out, not being discreet about pouring his wine in a nearby plant. Alex crossed his arms playfully and Scott put his hands up. "Okay, sue me. Sorry for liking my wine."
"Shut up, you lovable idiot," Alex told him lovingly, hugging him closely. Scott melted into the hug and smiled, feeling every ounce of love Alex gave him. "Forever and forever?"
"Forever and forever," Scott repeated, letting go of the hug. He noticed Mitch smiling at them and he smiled back. "This is what you will always get. It's the best feeling in the world."
The door opened once more, revealing Lilliana, Matt, and Sara. They ran to their respected parents, hugging them tightly and went on to Mitch, commenting on how beautiful he looked. He nodded his thanks and looked up to see Kevin pushing Avi's wheelchair in the room. Kevin nodded at Mitch and Mitch nodded back, preparing himself for the biggest day of his life.
"It's time," Kevin confirmed, going up to Mitch. Ariana and Kirstin gave Lilliana and Sara baskets of flower petals while Alex and Scott gave Matt the pillow and the rings. "Mitch, you grew up so fast. I'm so proud of you."
"Mitchy, I'm going to try to walk you down the aisle," Avi promised, smiling when Mitch nodded while tears rolled down his face. "You look amazing, Mitch. My baby is growing up."
Mitch then helped Avi out of his wheelchair, making sure that he didn't fall. Dads and son then interlocked arms, getting ready to start. A song began to play and Scott and Alex walked off, Kirstin and Ariana following them after a short while. Lilliana and Sara then went down the aisle and Matt followed them, almost tripping over his pants. Kevin then squeezed Mitch's hand lovingly, not quite ready for his son to get married.
"Are you ready, son?"
"Yes."

Mitch looked down at his ring, smiling when Travis kissed his cheek lovingly. The couple decided to get ready for their honeymoon right after the wedding because Travis planned something special for them. They are in some random hotel that is near the airport so they could leave first thing in the morning. Travis then poured some wine in two cups and gave one to Mitch, who took it with a smile on his face.
"I love you so much, baby," Travis whispered, brushing away the hair that was covering Mitch's eyes. His husband then blushed and moved up to kiss him on his cheek. "How did I get so lucky?"
"I t-th-hi-in-nk-k it s-sh-ho-ou-uld how did I get so l-lu-uc-ck-ky-y," Mitch replied, frowning slightly when Travis shook his head. "W-wh-ha-at-t do you m-me-ea-an?"
"By Justin Bieber," Travis began, laughing when Mitch punched him slightly. Travis then took Mitch's hand in his own and kissed it gently. "I'm lucky because I married the strongest, most amazing, most beautiful, and kindest person I know. You made me realize what love is and I can't thank you enough. I am so happy that we are married. I love you so much."
Mitch smiled tearfully as he thought about all the times Travis saved him. He is his prince, his savior. The boy helped him through depression and everything else that was going wrong in his life. Mitch then kissed Travis' lips gently and rested his forehead onto his husband's, smiling happily.
"I love you so much, too."
