(WARNING: death mention, car accident, death)
Scott jumped a bit when the doorbell rang. He quickly looked at the door, wondering who was on the other side. His eyes widened when he saw his family on the other side. Alex looked back at him and his family and sighed to himself.
"You guys need to talk," Alex observed, letting the rest of the Olusola family in. Mitch and Kirstin sat on Scott's left and right while Avi sat in front of his oldest son. "I'll get some tea."
"Thank you," Avi replied as Alex walked off. He then looked at Scott, his forest green eyes meeting Scott's cerulean ones. "Why did you do it?"
"I couldn't handle it anymore," Scott answered honestly, playing with his fingers. He then looked down at his lap, ashamed. "Esther bailed out Carson."
"I know," Avi responded, taking out the letter. Scott acknowledged it and nodded, looking up at his dad. "Mitch found out. How long did you know about this?"
"About a month," Scott responded once more, crossing his arms. His fiery hatred for his aunt seemed to spark more, causing his infuriation to increase rapidly. "I don't even know why she did it. She's dating Darien. Why would she do that to him?"
"She's dating Darien?" Avi questioned, making all three of his children nod in unison. He then raised an eyebrow, getting more confused. "Wow, I didn't know that. Thank you. I need to talk to her too. Scott?"
"Yes, Dad?"
"Never do that again, please. I don't want to lose somebody else that I love."
"Okay. I love you too, Dad."
Alex smiled from the kitchen when he saw the family hug each other then went back to what he was doing. He remembered when him and Vic used to be close. His timid and shy sister was quiet around others but loud around him. They loved and protected each other. When Vic died, Alex's world stopped. With his mom, he was forced to find ways to make his life happier and simpler.
That's when he started his love for art. He was always interested in doing art so he begged his mom to give him lessons. After a few 'no's and 'maybe's, his mom finally confirmed that he could do it. Art was and is his escape. He painted Scott a Beyoncé picture for his sixteenth birthday and his boyfriend loved it dearly. Art gave him a better view of the world.
The tea was finally done and Alex outed it into cups carefully. He put the tea carefully onto a platter and went to go into the living room when a piece of paper flew through his window. He don't notice it and walked off to the laughing family, ready for tonight's fun.

Six months later
Kevin stared down at the documents while his lawyer sat next to him. Avi and his own lawyer looked at expectantly. In front of him was the divorce forms. After this, the Olusola family will be no more. Avi will gain full custody of the children and change their last names to Kaplan. Charlotte at seven months already began to shop for baby stuff for a baby girl and dragged Kevin everywhere with her. He couldn't stand it!
"Mr. Olusola, just sign the papers," Avi's lawyer demanded impatiently, tapping her fingers rapidly. Kevin looked up, his eyes filling with tears. "I don't got all day!"
Kevin then picked up the pen and went to sign it; however, he only put down 'Kev' when he slammed down the pen. He then stood up, pushing back his chair, the tears finally escaping.
"I can't do this," Kevin admitted. He then looked at Avi, who looked more shocked than angered. "I still love you. Charlotte threatened me, us. She made me date for eleven years. She wanted to date me until Mitch turned thirteen.
"She wanted to adopt Mitch, but I took that away from her. She got angry then threatened me to date her or terrible things will happen. I then dated her and I got intoxicated by her one night and she made me get her pregnant. I don't even want that child. I know that I should help take care of the child when they are born, but I didn't even want it in the first place.
"So, yes. I still love you. I never wanted to hurt you. I want to spend every moment with you until the day one of us takes our last breath. I want to see our kids graduate, get married, have their own kids, and even grandchildren. I want to do all this stuff with you! I still love you."
Avi was about to answer, but before he can, Kevin ran out of the room. He then looked at the lawyers who shared a look of shock. Avi then quickly left the room, making Mitch jump. The younger Olusola agreed to going here today, but he had to stay outside.
"Wh-ha-at ha-ap-en-ed?" Mitch asked, his heart beating. Avi then took his hand, making him run fast. "Is Dad o-ok-ka-ay?"
"He never wanted to cheat on me," Avi whispered to himself, running outside. He quickly ran into the car and saw Charlotte's car driving off. "Charlotte's a liar."
Mitch raised an eyebrow and buckled his seatbelt. As soon as he did that, Avi then sped up, trying to get to his husband.
"Papa," Mitch yelled, feeling like was falling back into the seat. The car was moving fast. "Wh-ha-at-t's ha-ap-en-ning?!"
"Your dad is not a cheater," Avi finally answered, cursing out loudly when the light stopped. Charlotte was right in front of them, thank God. "I want to talk to them."
Mitch was about to protest, but Avi was already getting ready out of the car; however, Charlotte seemed to have caught them because the car drove off. Time seemed to stop right afterwards. Charlotte ran a red light and when she did, a truck ran into them, making Avi scream. He dropped down to his knees, praying that Kevin did not pass away. Mitch let out a shuddery sob as he watched the car get smashed into a wall. He let out his own scream and quickly got Avi's phone and called his siblings.
"S-sc-cott-t? Ki-ir-st-tie? Go to the hos-spit-tal. Dad w-wa-as in a c-c-ar-r ac-ci-de-nt."

(A/N: Light in the Hallway just came on and I'm currently crying because of the song and this part of the chapter.)
The Olusola family waited in the hospital, awaiting the news. Kirstin and Mitch both had tears running down from their eyes once in the while and Scott's face remained stoic. Avi was almost in a catatonic stage, his green eyes full of tears. They knew Kevin will be okay though. He and Mitch are probably the strongest people they know.
A doctor with bloody scrubs then walked up to the family, a somber look on his face. They knew what he meant. Kirstin and Mitch began to cry loudly, hugging each other tightly. Scott then released his own tears, going up to his younger siblings and hugging them close. Avi then shook his head, praying the best. Only this time, the best did not come.
"We did all we could. I'm sorry."
A/N: Haha, so, do you guys still like me? No? Okay, I'll just let myself leave. I hope you guys enjoy this.:) Next chapter will be the last chapter of Mitch being eleven! Thank you to everyone who is reading this. I love you all!!!
