Come Inside the Mind of Jack - Things That Annoy Me

Items...

This is going to be a little different. I don't just hate people. I hate other things as well, These are some items that get on my nerves!

Earphones... Earphones are great! (Those with speaker phones... Get yourselves a set) They're not always great though. Don't you love it when you're wearing earphones and it feels like you're surrounded by music? Well say goodbye to that feeling because one side always seems to stop working! This is understandable after a few months or years of usage... but NOT AFTER A FEW DAYS! Worst of all, it doesn't really matter how much they cost.. I bought $40 earphones and a few days later... I'm going deaf in one ear only. I need sound from both sides! Another annoying thing about earphones... The wires... Why do they find the need to make some of them so bloody long? I have a pair of earphones with wires that are about as long as my entire body and mind you... I'm pretty tall. What's worse than long wires? Long and TANGLED wires! Whenever I find my earphones they are always tangled. How the hell do the wires get tangled so badly anyway? The wires always weave in and out in intricate patterns... Kind of like a puzzle... A puzzle that takes forever to solve!

Socks... Socks are really good for keeping your feet warm but I can't stand wearing mismatched socks. It's not my fault though! I blame the socks! Whenever I do the laundry... One sock always seems to disappear. I wouldn't be able to count how many socks I have lost even if I tried. Where do they end up? I have looked everywhere for those pesky missing socks but I never find anything. By now there should be piles of them... somewhere. Maybe the socks are actually alive and are building a colony... Or  maybe some sadistic bastard is taking them off my clothesline. I guess I should start making sock puppets since I have so many individual socks. This could be a blessing in disguise! I could be the world's greatest sock puppeteer! I could make millions! Thank you missing socks!

Small objects... I dread small objects. Not because I have a chance of choking on them but because I am not very good at holding them... Once I drop a small object I will never be able to find it again! Where the hell do they even go? If small objects were humans then they would be master Ninjas. They always remain out of sight. The worst thing in the world to drop is a pin. A few days ago I dropped three pins... It was probably the worst thing to have ever happened to me. I spent hours upon hours looking for them. For the next few days I had to walk around my room like I was walking through a field of landmines. Remember how I said that once I drop an object I would never be able to find it again? Well I lied... You wouldn't believe how painful it is when you step on a pin! But look on the bright side! At least I found the pin again... even though it was stuck deep in my foot. Now... I just have to endure that pain two more times.
