Your POV

Why couldn't you get him out of your head? you asked yourself, opening the front door. Adam greeted you with a very claustrophobic hug. You smiled, hugging him back. He was so sweet.

"Also, y/n. A package came in the mail for you. It's on your bed." he walked off.

Package? From who? What was it? You rushed up to your room, slumping the bags off your arms. As promised, a small box laid on your comforter. You picked it up. It was quite heavy and it didn't make a sound. A small note was taped to the top of the box.

"Dear y/n,

This is a special little gift from me to you. Hope you enjoy. Don't shake the box before you open it.

Sincerely, Notch"

Notch, eh? Wonder what he's gotten you. You went to open up the box, but it moved. You gently set it down. What was in this thing? Why did it move? You tapped the box with your nail. Again, it moved. You took up your box cutter and sliced open the strip of shipping tape on the top of the box. The flaps burst open, a small, f/c Creeper inside. You dropped your box cutter, running downstairs.

What was Notch thinking?? He'd shipped you a LIVE Creeper! It could wander around exploding things and getting you in trouble. You ran back upstairs, panic racing through you. The Creeper sat on your bed, looking around. It was only the size of a small duck, and it seemed harmless. You slowly crouched towards it. It turned and looked at you, smiling. It seemed happy to see you.

"Okay, little guy... Don't explode my face now..." you reached a hand out to it. It bonked its forehead on the back of your hand. "Aw..." you smiled.

It was cute, but what was its name? You tore open the tape from the letter, and sure enough, on the back was a PS.

"P.S. His name is Cinder. He's unable to explode, so you're safe on that. I figured you needed a friend for your desk or something. You're welcome."

You sighed, good. He WAS harmless. You picked him up and sat him on your desk top. Cinder looked up at you and bounced around. He was happy. You smiled, Notch had said that you'd enjoy the gift, and indeed, you did.
