So here I am, half naked and just finished taking a nice hot shower, being halted in front of Rick who's apparently about to brush his teeth. We stood stiff staring at each other. I wanted to scream but I was terrified he saw my innocent body. Just as I was about to screech at the tip of my tongue...
"So you're a D cup." he bluntly assumed even though he was partially right about my size. Instead of me screaming, I slapped him so hard it sounded like two planks hitting against each other. I grabbed the clothes and scurried out of the bathroom to hide my embarrassing face.
How dare he guestimate my cup size. But HOW?!?! I never said I was D cup. My face was as bright as an apple once I headed straight to the guest bedroom.
"HAYATE!!" Penny squealed as she noticed right away I'm still soaking wet, "W-why didn't you dry yourself properly?!"
"He... saw.... everything...." I plopped down from shame. "I exposed my naked body in front of that player." I hugged my legs close to hide my shame even more. Penny hugged from behind.
"Oh my god!! I am so sorry I didn't tell Rick you were still inside the bathroom." Penny apologized multiple times, "Are you okay? Did he saw everything?!"
"You're not helping, Penny!!!" I shrieked in embarrassment. Then we heard a knock on the door.
"Are you in there, Hayate?" it was Rick's voice on the other side of the door.
"Hayate won't talk to you, pervert!!" Penny refused while hugging me tight.
"Just tell her I was kidding about earlier. I didn't see anything." Rick sighed, "Anyways. Night girls." We heard his footsteps fading away as he heads towards his bedroom.
We both sighed i relief and I put on the clothes Penny let me borrow. As expected of Penny, it's all bright pink.
"Gee.... thanks Penny." I grunted from my hatred of the color pink. She giggled and clapped her hands in excitement.
"It looks really cute on you, Hayate." she smiled, "This will be the greatest slumber party ever. Well... in a boy's home." I rolled my eyes hearing the words slumber party. "Haven't you been on a slumber party?"
"No. I stayed at a boy's house to stay up all night for the midnight game release." I grunted more, "Slumber parties aren't really my thing."
"And this is why you don't have many girl friends." Penny patted my shoulder. I pouted refusing to admit the truth. "I'm glad you're my first real friend, Hayate."
It made me happy that she's smiling. I remembered the first time we met, she was uptight with every girl. Not many of them wanted to be friends with her until she bumped into me while I was self studying in the library. And boy does she like to talk to herself. I didn't mind her telling me about herself, but it was kind of intriguing listening. From then on, I also met Chris and we became fast friends. Just having these two around makes me feel safe ever since I transferred to a new school with no old friends. Yeah it kept me distracted from thinking of...
"Earth to Hayate." Penny waved her hand in front of my eyes. I snapped out of thought and poked her forehead. "Owww...."
"Sorry." I shrugged it off, "Let's sleep together, ok? We still have school tomorrow."
"Yes, mom." she mocks sticking her tongue out. "Hayate. I wish we can go to the same university together." She runs to the bed and grabs the whole blanket and covers her body with all of it. I sighed and laid next to her as I stare at the ceiling.
When was the very last time I sleptover at a friend's house? I mean most of the times it has always been me and Bryan. No one else were by our side. There were also a few art friends but they have their own personal situations going on in their lives. I always felt like a bother to them if I ever ask them to hang out. I don't know, maybe it's just me feeling torn apart from them. And I feel more ripped to shreds between Bryan and I. I covered my eyes to help myself fall into a deep sleep so that I could forget everything from the past I ran away from.
