Seventh Kiss

"Chris!! What are you doing here?" I walked up to her. She stood stiff surprised to see me. She took a step back looking frightened.

"Chris, come over here." Rick commanded her. She nodded and walked towards us. "So I don't need to introduce you guys to each other."

"Y-yeah... we're classmates." Chris and I looked down avoiding eye contact. Rick then broke the silence and noogied Chris's head.

"Dude you never told me you made another friend besides Penny." he joked around with Chris.

"C-cut it out man!!" Chris pestered trying to get out of Rick's noogie.

"So how did she react you're a guy?" he smirked. Wait... Chris is.....

Chris rubbed the back of her head and sighed in exhaustion. "To tell you the truth, Hayate," she spoke up, "I'm really a guy who has a taste in designing."

My jaw opened slightly from the shock of this new fact. Chris was really a guy? Chris was just acting 'tomboy' but pretending to be a girl. What? My head hurts tremendously. I fell back from the news I never knew but felt Rick catching me from my fall.

"Easy there, princess." he said, "Chris didn't want to hurt you from knowing the truth."

"First Penny knows you well. Then Chris is actually a guy. Now I'm going to be pretending to be someone I have no clue to be as." I said as my head spins around.

"Hayate has to pretend to be someone?" Chris asked suddenly. Rick picked me up and carried me to the dressing room.

"More or so." he explained, "I'm just repaying her for what she's done for me so far. So I'd like to help her change her look." Liar

Chris placed her hands on her hips and followed us. "Well ok then. But I didn't know you bumped into Penny. So that means you met the Rice family too."

I nodded slowly taking in all the new information that's still spinning massively.

"The Rice family are jerks aren't they?" Chris asked giving a disgusting look. "All they ever do is increase the franchise of the bakery and leave Rick out of the family. God every single time I see them in the front cover, they never mention how gifted Rick is as well."

"Are you praising me, Chris?" Rick interrupted. Chris blushed slightly and pouted.

"You already know I'm out of the closet." Chris bluntly spoke. "Hence why my parents kicked me out and I had to live on my own ever since. Even Penny is being a pain giving me money for finance and stuff. Ugh you guys spoil me too much, but I appreciate it." Chris then look at me and observe my body. "So you just need my help dressing up Hayate, right? How should I dress her up?"

Rick leaned back against the wall and crossed his arms. "Dress her up like Juliet."

Chris stared at him and gave a bitter look. "So that's the plan? I knew you'd think that since she resembles a little of Juliet." So Chris also knows about Juliet. I felt left out I have no clue who is she or what happened between Rick and his family. Chris then grabs my hand and we head off to the racks of nice clothes. She grabbed a few dresses, fluffy skirts, lacey blouses, and a few more blouses with floral patterns. "Sorry you have to be pulled into this, Hayate."

"What are you sorry for?" I asked.

"You found out about my secret. Aren't you mad at me?" Chris asked concerned.

"Of course not. You're my friend whether you're a guy or a girl." I said, "But man too much has gotten my head spinning. I knew you and Penny were close friends but I didn't know you were part of the high class family."
