Twenty-Ninth Kiss

I may have been blind, but I could hear outside the drive wasn't as far as I imagined. I could hear the door open and carried us out of the car and took us somewhere else. My mind was telling me they're going to take us to a place where they'll torture and strip us until we give them the truth like Saw. Okay probably not, but similar to that situation. Once they dropped us and handcuffed me onto a cold pole, they removed my blindfold. I took a good look to remember his face and scowled at his face.

"Feisty girl, aren't you?" he smirks as he stands up.

"You're not going to get away from this!!" I yelled at him, "My darling will come rescue us and you'll be captured.

"I wouldn't be so certain about that." another voice disagrees my argument. I turned where I heard the voice as the person steps into the light. As I glanced up to their face, my eyes were emptied with disbelief.

"Marta....?" I had to make sure. This can't be right. But she's been a maid to the Rice family. "Why....?"

"Boy you really fell for my sob story of working for them for a short time." she jeers covering her mouth and continue snickering, "I didn't consider a nuisance like you to fall for my horrible acting and take me in every time you ask for my help." Julia regains conscious noticing she's tied down and captured.

"Wh-what the hell?!" she screeches, "Why am I taken in, too?"

"Oh don't worry, ma'am." Marta walks in front of Julia, "You'll be taken care of as well after the boys have broken you far enough."

"Marta, stop this!!!" I badgered her, "It's me you're after, not Julia!!!"

"Oh that's right." she giggles and grabs my hair forcefully, "Luckily your darling Damien will be busy the rest of the night leaving you helpless." Her aggressive pull really agitates my scalp. "We're going to have a wonderful sleepover getting to know each other and once you give us info of that jewel, you'll be disposed of as well." She played under the Rice's hands and is now going to torture us. How the hell am I going to get me and Julia out of this? Her pocket vibrates and releases my hair to grab. "Hello? Yes I'm here." She turns and walks away from us. "I brought our target. No don't worry about it. I won't slice her up yet. After all, we need every single ounce of her participation for her to cooperate with us." I can hear her annoying giggle. "I'll wait for you, darling. Ta ta." She hangs up and signals one of the men. "Now stay there like good little sacks of potatoes. I have some errands to run. Bye bye." Both her and the men exit the room and close the door in front of us. I heard a loud click indicating there's a lock on the other side of the door.

I struggled more seeing if the handcuffs are loosened up but no luck. I break into tears realizing I failed protecting Juliet. "I'm so sorry, Juliet." No answer. "If I hadn't ran all the way to Bryan's cafe, you wouldn't get caught with me." No answer. "I screwed up your plan that took you seven long years to take." Still no answer. "Are you even listening to me?!" Suddenly I hear a light click behind me and I feel her standing up.

"Good thing I had an extra hairpin in my back pocket." she sighs in relief as she unlocks my handcuffs. Once the handcuffs were unlocked, I stood up and massaged my wrists. "Now that we got the handcuffs gone, let's search around this place." I'm amazed how calm she is when we're at a critical condition.

"You amaze me." was all I could say. She turned to me showing a serious face. "Even when you know we're about to die, you still stayed calm and try to find another way." She ignores me and searches around the room. "Juliet...?"

"I may look calm, but I'm as terrified as you." she calmly says, "I will never forgive you for ruining my plan of staying incognito, but shit happens." She continues investigating around. "Right now, we need to find out where they took us and a escape route."
