Chapter 10

4 months later.I've got a burning desire for you baby. Olivia fell madly in love with a man, she never thought would happen. Olivia became happier than she originally was. Elliot and Kathy was still there, they got back together and became a family again. Elliot still worked at SVU, but Olivia hadn't been there in months. She was out of the country with her boy toy. Everything was about to change, and change may be good but this change will shatter millions of heart fragments and strings.        
    Olivia and Lance were suppose to come back today but decided to stay two more days, Lance was a perfect gentlemen towards Olivia she felt wanted and needed and LOVED. But she missed Elliot and remember what the last thing she said to him.
  Kathy and Elliot were happy together again but it felt so different it felt like a lie they have been living. Elliot felt loss and sad both women in his life are just full of surprises.

There were files stacking up one minute at a time, Elliot had a temporary partner Alexis Harn, she was new into the detective work. She was tall,brown hair,hazel eyes, and perfect shape lips.
"Good morning" Alexis said with a smile, Elliot turned around and smiled back.
"Can you both come in here?" Captain said, with a straight face. They both made their way to the office.
Captain huffed. "Olivia has been gone for too long now...and if she doesn't come back within 3 days I'm gonna have to replace her.." He said looking at both. Elliot put his hands on his hips And huffs.
"Who would be my new partner??" Elliot asked annoyingly. Captain looked at Alexis and gave her a paper that had to be signed.
"Three days...can't you give her more time?" Elliot said angrily.  Captain shook  his head 'no'. Elliot stormed off outside going for a walk.
----out of the country----
The places Olivia and Lance been to were so beautiful, they never wanted to leave but Olivia only went to avoid lives problems while Lance wanted to just spend time with Olivia. Of course olivia went for that, it was just complicated. They started to go back to NYC on the plane but it was delayed and it doesn't come back in 3 days. Which was okay they had time to see more things in the country. Olivia's phone rang it was Elliot calling she denied the call but he kept calling and she kept denying it, soon after he texted her.
"Olivia answer the phone!" Olivia opened it and soon after another one came.
"I don't understand why you won't pick up or you're mad at me.." Olivia read it, she's not mad at him. Elliot called once again, she got annoyed cause she just wants to spend time with Lane.
" can you give me on minute?" Olivia asked, Lance kissed her softly and smiled. Olivia went to the windows and answered the phone.
"Liv?" Elliot said softly, Olivia was still quiet for a while.
"What do you need?" Olivia asked, trying to make short conversation.
"Liv..I miss you when are you coming back?" He asked.
Olivia was gonna say something until Lance came up to her and talked, Elliot heard the mans voice.
"Three days.." Olivia said.
"That's not enough time...you're getting replaced.." Elliot said, Olivia widened her eyes.
"What do you mean..." She asked worried.
"You've been gone for four months..." He said hanging up, Olivia noticed he hung up and ran to Lance.
"We need to go now!! Pick a plane that goes NYC direction!!" Olivia rushed and Lance found one and paid extra for everything and they were on their way to NYC, although the plane would arrive in 2 days. Olivia knew there was FBI and other corporations but she wanted to work with Elliot nobody else. If it did come to that then it wouldn't matter.

Elliot was angry like always he wanted Olivia to come back. Nothing  was wrong with Alexis it just different, she's not Olivia.
"Hey...can I ask you something ?" Alexis asked sweetly to Elliot.
"Sure. What is it?" Elliot replied standing up.
"Do you not wanna be my partner??" She said sadly.
Elliot felt bad they way she said it was just so sad. "I do wanna be your partner.." He said, Alexis face glowed up in happiness and she hugged him.
-2 days later-
Olivia's job was on the line, honestly she just wanted to jump out of the plane. They were almost landing but it was still gonna take a while to get to the precinct. Olivia's hair was messy, her make up was a mess, the clothes she was wearing wasn't appropriate to wear to the precinct. Lance had to calm
Liv down or she would have a panic attack. The plane finally landed and she rushed out of the plane holding her bags and lance's hand tight. They got outside and got a cab.
"SVU precinct, New York Manhattan." Olivia said out of breath.

Everyone looked at the clock. 24 hours left. Fin and Munch were worried, they needed Liv back. Elliot isn't the only one. They had lot of cases that were being avoided just because they were afraid Olivia wouldn't make it.
Captain came out. " I got a call.." He said loudly, everyone looked.
"If she's not here by tomorrow at 10am the job goes to Alexis." He said, that made everyone worry.
Elliot tried calling Olivia again but no answer. Why did they all care so much if Olivia arrived on time or not, it didn't make sense. Elliot went to the locker room and punched the lockers and broke down in tears.. Munch and Fin came in and saw Elliot sitting there.
"El do you know where she went?" They both asked, Elliot rubbed his head and sighed.
"No.. One day I saw her the next I didn't.." He replied standing up and leaving the room. Munch and fin looked at each other and walked in separate directions and found out what was happening.
-9 hours later-
Munch and fin were looking for each other and gave a look knowing what they found. Elliot saw that communication.
"You guys in love or something.." He asked, they both widened their eyes.
"No but Olivia is.." Munch said looking at the folder. Elliot got up and took both of their folders and read them carefully.
"She ran off with a man outside of the country?" He asked reading more of the papers, "he was her doctor when she was in her coma.." He stopped. "When I didn't visit her.." Elliot said lastly, throwing the papers on the desk and sitting down roughly.
"But she happy..so that's all that matters" fin showing him a picture of her and Lance kissing. Elliot looked at it and threw it down as well. Fin and munch went back to their desks to do other work, they both felt bad for Elliot.
"That's pretty cool how we both found out within 9 hours." Fin said laughing, they both high five each other.
-day three-
There was too much traffic, and right then and there Olivia knew she was gonna loose her job.
"Liv I think we still have time, breathe or you will have a panic attack. Please". Olivia did as what was asked. They finally got to Manhattan and they were almost their and it was almost 10am. Olivia was tapping her finger on lance legs and he just laughed.
"Relax, we will make it I have hope." He said, Olivia smiled and kissed him.
She had 20 minuets to get here and their was traffic that was moving slowly. Olivia was getting annoyed now.
"I have to go ..." Olivia said looking at Lance, he smiled and kissed her.
"I'll meet you there." He kissed her, Olivia got out of the car and took her bag and ran and ran to the precinct, she thought of how loosing her job would mean she wouldn't work with Elliot and she didn't want that. It was all just a rush, her phone was ringing but didn't check. There was only 4 minutes to save her job. Elliot was getting annoyed and flipped his chair. Everyone looked.
  Olivia was starting to cry and run through the crowds of people, her make up was severely ruined and her face was filled with make up.
Olivia made it, but there was only two minutes left and the elevators were filled, that just means running up more stairs, but time was ticking.. There was no way of making it up there, Olivia was gonna give up. But she remembered "I'm your partner for better or for worse." She went back to reality and ran up the stairs like no other. She made it and she dropped her bags and passed but through Elliot. The minute was up it was officially 10am, and she stormed into captains office. He looked at her and stood up..
There was a quietness throughout the room and the outside room.
