Part 30

Breathless I can't resist .

- 6 months later -

New York City lights lit up so bright, it was beautiful and rainy, the rain drops raced down the widows. The precinct was empty there was no case which was oddly weird cause usually it's crazy with stacks of cases, Olivia was sitting at her desk stressed as always, her happiness seemed to fade away everyday. Elliot was at the coffee machine, pouring himself some black coffee into his mug, trying to stay wake.   There was a loud thump coming up from the elevator, a little girl with mud all over her came in crying and running into Olivia.
"Help.. Help me please!! He's coming for me they all are coming for me I have to hide!!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs, Olivia looked at Elliot,.
"It's okay you are safe, we are police " Olivia said holding the little girl. She was scared to death crying her eyes out. 
Olivia walked her to the bathroom to clean her up and give her clean clothes to wear. Elliot went to set u the bed in the locker room for her to sleep in. Olivia put her into the bed.
"Honey tomorrow you have to tell us everything okay.. We will help you" she said tucking her in. The girl looked into Olivia's eyes with sadness.
"Then will you help me hide?" She asked with a tear falling down from her eye. Olivia looked at her not knowing what to say, but she nodded her head slowly. She left the room, walking over to Elliot.
"She is traumatized .." She said sighing, Elliot hugged her, but Olivia pulled away. He saw she was being distant.
"Olivia.." He said, Olivia looked at him knowing what he was gonna say.
"I'll see you tomorrow, let cap know we have a victim." She said grabbing all her stuff walking out.
"Right.." He said rolling his eyes and hitting his chair making it swivel.
"You like her don't you?" The little girl said, Elliot looked at her quickly and smiled.
"What are you doing up?" He asked, she smiled and sat next to him.
"You didn't answer my question!" She said being friendly, he smiled not wanting to answer the question, but then he over thought it.
"Yeah I do like her.. I always have" he said answering her question, "but answer my question now!" He said laughing. She smiled but then it faded.
"I can't sleep.. I can never sleep.." She said sadly, Elliot turned to her directly.
" can you tell me what happen?" Elliot asked nicely, she had a tear fall from her face but wiped it off quickly.
"I'd rather have the girl here as well." She asked politely. Elliot nodded his head.
"Can you tell me your name?" He asked pulling out a bag from his drawer, filled with cookies.
"Tessa" she replied, "what is yours?"
" Detective stabler and my partner is detective benson." He said handing her the bag of cookies, she ate them all in on sitting.
"Thank you for the cookies" Tessa said as she walked back to the room, "goodnight Detective Stabler" she said smiling
